Service was very friendly and helpful. Especially in selecting from all of the options. I felt the pastries were reasonably... priced compared to the market and what you're getting Between 4 macaroons and a pumpkin pastry, absolutely delicious! Highlyrecommend Read more

I went to this place reading the reviews and I can assure you, YOU will love it. The service is 10/10, the ambiance is 10/10 and... the deserts are a 10/10 aswell. The price is definitely on the higher end but worth every penny. Will definitely visit again!! Read more

French bakery in the front with fine dining in the back. They were short staffed, but we managed to get seated. Very friendly... staff, fancy looking dishes, which were equally tasteful. I would certainly recommend dining at Barberet if you are in the area!Pictured is their salmon. Read more

Incrediblely delicious desserts! We didn't eat in the restaurant but I would like to sometime. The desserts are top notch though... and reasonably priced. So, if you're in the area, definitely stop in and give them a try! Read more

Just go here. Make a reservation. Now. Okay, in all seriousness, this is some of the best French dining you?ll experience... outside of France. I come from a larger city than Lancaster and this bistro would be MILES better than any French restaurant inmy city. The food is just incredibly flavorful, and truly authentic. The service is friendly, attentive and overall exceptional.Don?t even get me started on the delicious deserts. Zero things I can say bad, other than we have to drive several hours to getto it! Can?t wait to go again when I?m back in Lancaster!! Read more

It is difficult to find a restaurant seat for Saturday dinner, This French restaurant hidden behind the dessert shop is easy to... forget. Luckily there are seats at the bar. Every dish is exquisite and the environment is beautiful, I especially like theirchocolate cake, it is indescribably delicious, come again next time. Read more

You can?t leave Lancaster City without stoping here first. Me and my family were just about to give up looking for a place to... eat before we had to leave town, when we stumbled across this gem. HI STAFF! You guys were so kind to us and made us feel socomfortable and cared for, by far one of the best dining experiences I?ve had (considering it was impromptu seating). The foodwas so authentic, and they even cut it into portions that we could share! Just a pleasant experience overall, worth everypenny. P.S. Please please please tell me that I left my backpack here, it is red and black and I love it dearly ???? Read more

So far everything I put in my mouth is a bomb, main course or bakery. The Costa Rica cake is my favorite piece. My husband and I... fought over it ????. The white chocolate cheese cake( I don?t remember the name) is so light and creamy. Macaron doesn?t tastetoo sweet, but nothing hit me on the head. The short ribs is fantastic. Prince Edward mussels is so good. French onion soup is abit too sweet for my taste. Nice atmosphere. Super chic and friendly staffs. The only thing that killed the vibe tho is just theclient age group there. I?m so confuse with this town being so cool, young and hip but seems like this restaurant focusing onmuch older crowd. Hate waking in to restart that people looked at me like I can?t effort it, not the staffs tho just theclients. Will be back for sure if we have a chance to come back here. Probably will dress up in meet the parents clothes nexttime for dinner lol. Read more
