Reviews for Annie Bailey's Irish Public House in Lancaster, PA
Went to Annie Bailey’s for dinner and got the spicy chicken and waffle for dinner. I was pretty unimpressed. While it looked... visually appealing, the chicken was bland and so was the waffle. The pork belly bits as well. The only thing that really hadflavor was the syrup they give you to put on the dish; even that was lacking. The peppers that they use to garnish the dish hadthe most flavor of anything on the plate. Other than that, the service itself was fine and we were seated fairly quickly. Read more
This was our first time visiting the city of Lancaster, PA. After a 12 hour drive we were famished. We decided to try Irish fare... for dinner. We were not disappointed. We were quickly seated even though we did not have reservations. Our server, Will, wassuper nice and very helpful. I've never had Irish food so he explained to what serveral dishes were on the menu. I ended uptrying the Bangers and Mash. I normally don't eat mashed potatoes but this time I quite enjoyed it. The two large sausages wereplaced on top of the mashed potato. Then a Guinness sauce was poured over them. The sauce, surprisingly, was delicious. Myhusband ordered the Shepard Pie and he loved it! For dessert we ordered the Mango Bomb cake. Read more

Wish I could give 3.5. The food was pretty good and service was ok, it was busy. Good portion size. Good fries. Not too loud.... Pretty unique menu for an Irish Bar, but a little hit or miss. Read more
We stopped here for brunch without a reservation on a Sunday. A line had formed behind us shortly before they opened, which we... took as a good sign. Once inside, our group was directed to the bar since all the tables had been saved for those who madereservations. The service started out a bit awkwardly, as our server/bartender had only brought out 2 out of the 4 drink ordersthat we asked for. Before taking down our food orders, she informed us that she was actually meant to work on the other side ofthe bar and that someone else would be taking her place. Once her replacement came around, there was some miscommunication aboutour food orders since it was assumed that we had already put our orders in. Once we overcame the initial bumps in the service, the rest of the meal went very smoothly. We each ordered an Irish-themed brunch item, which were all very tasty and generouslyportioned. The coffee (served in a cute French press) was also quite good. Overall, we had an enjoyable meal and woulddefinitely return on our next trip to Lancaster—probably with a reservation in the future. Great Irish bar in downtown Lancaster. I ordered fish and chips with a guinness and highly recommend this meal. There was no... wait around 3:30 but the place filled up almost immediately. Consider reserving a table. Service was friendly and attentive.Parking is awful, expect to pay and walk. It was a little pricey (I paid around $56) but it’s easily worth it. I would go backif I’m in the area. Read more
The food was good, and that's all that matters for this review. The management's snarky responses to anything less than... resounding praise and the fact that I'm not paid for this lead me to shy away from a full review. Come here and enjoy theatmosphere. We had the smoked meatloaf (not pictured), shepherd's pie, chicken pot pie and the winter flatbread. All good. Read more
I’m telling you now… THE BEST FISH & CHIPS I’ve ever had. Wow. Couldn’t believe how amazing this was. It’s easy to... mess up fish and chips but not this place! The batter has a distinct flavor and the sauce was fantastic. My 8 year oldcouldn’t get enough and kept asking for more. The other dishes were good but this place was fantastic. If you are here giveit a try and a like on the photo! Read more
