My husband and I just had lunch at Scoobs today. His Potroast sandwich was very good. But I had a Chef salad and I had to take... out several lettuce leaves because they were wilted . I did tell the waitress and she offered to bring more lettuce which Ideclined. I just think that it was a poor job on behalf of the kitchen to serve this especially at 6.99 for a salad that had notmuch more than lettuce, shredded carrots, chick peas and a few cucumbers. Fantastic fish fry, huge piece of fish cooked to perfection! Our first time here and we will definitely be back!
This is the best fish fry I've ever had! I order the half portion, which is the size of most places regular size!! The beer... batter is perfect! Crispy outside and no "raw" batter - just crispy goodness! And the fish itself is so thick, meaty and white!Honestly, they have a huge menu, never had anything I didn't love.
