They try and skimp out on actual scoops for you're protien. If you ask for an actually good scoop it's charged for it

They charged $2.20 for half of an avocado and they don?t care about the quality. This avocado is browned and hard! Really dry!

This Flame Broiler is one of the worst that I've been to, and I've been to most of them in Southern Cali. From as far North in... Bakersfield to as far South in San Diego. My favorite location is the one in Torrance where they make your food hot and fresh toorder. This location? They measure your food on a scale?! No other location does this. Also, they don't like serving fullportions. I ordered 3 Works (or half & half) bowls with extra green onion on 2. Been ordering like this for almost 10 years! Myserver scoops the smallest amount of rice, then scoops ONE spoon of meat, shakes the meat back into the meat container and triesto divide the half spoon of meat between the 3 bowls. She also did the same thing with the veggies which is not how it'ssupposed to be served. When I brought it to her attention she asked if I wanted extra meat. No, I just wanted the servings thatgo in the bowl. Then she goes to dip the steak and does the same thing. I ask her why she's not serving a regular portion, sheoffers to give me extra meat. Again she scoops then half empties the spoon to divide the meat. Will somebody tell me why Ireceived barely 2 half spoons of meat that were divided by 3 bowls? When the owner/manager walks up, he does NOTHING. I had toask 3 times for green onion and only got it on 1 bowl. Small divided up portions but you keep increasing the price. Now, whenthe manager serves you, it's the regular portion but anytime his staff serve, they have broken wrist syndrome. Just why?! Ugh...???????? Read more

I used to love coming here and did so multiple times a week. My last 2 visits the employees making my bowl either didn't wear... gloves or only put one glove on one hand. This wasn't ok before covid, and especially isn't ok now during covid. Trying tofigure out when restaurant staff decided it was ok to handle and serve customers' food with out both hands covered. Guess I'llbe looking for another healthy option to hit up while on the go, will definitely not be returning. Sad, I loved this place. Read more
