Reviews for La Papillon in Lancaster, CA
I was pleasantly surprised by the warmth of the decor. The resturant really gave off a charming air. The service was slow and... the food was bland and overcooked. The menu brunch menu was limited and there were no exciting options. I had the french mimosawith Chambord. It was lovely. I had fresh fruit. They did not offer cottage cheese. The croissant was dry and overheated. Iasked for butter and jelly. I expected whipped butter and a dish of jelly. When prepacked mini servings arrived to the table lwas dissappointed. It took away the element of classiness. The hashbrowns were not seasoned well. I may return for cocktails. Read more
It was very romantic. Great place to take your honey......The traffic and loud cars are a distraction, but you get used to it.
Brunch on Saturday was great. No wait for a table inside or outside...fast upscale service (cloth napkins) and elegant decor. I... ordered the Bacon Avocado Omelet with hash browns (scrambled please). Everything was delicious...only the avocado was a bit toofirm. They offer home fries as a side too! The coffee looked delicious...but no options yet for us non- dairy Java drinkers.Classy breakfast escape...I recommend it ? and want to try the Eggs Benedict or the French Crepes next! Read more

Went here for an early Valentines date with my wife. The food was delicious, the hostess and waitresses were very kind,... personable and professional. The dessert was amazing and the prices were great especially for the quality of the foodpreparation. I will definitely come back here. We had lamb chops which were tasty and very tender, creame brulet, raspberrysorbet. Our waitress was amazing and the hostess let us change our dining preferences from inside to outside with no problem.Quality staff and quality food fare. ???????? Read more
Ok. So me and my husband went here for dinner and then brunch the next morning. At night we sat outside and they set up the... outdoor heater for us. I really dig the outside patio. It’s so nice and welcoming! We got the coconut shrimp as anappetizer… BOM. I had the Sea Bass…BOM. My husband got the pizza…BOM. Needless to say we came back to see how the brunchwas. They had a lot of Benedict choices so I was down. I got the crab cake Benedict. The crab cake was good on its own. Myhusband got the country fried steak. It was a little tough but the eggs were good. Ok. So the reason for the 4 stars instead of5 is because the drinks are so so. I’m used to some crazy good drinks so maybe it’s was just a hard act to follow. I don’tknow but they were just ok. A little watered down. I did get the Cinnamon Toast desert drink for brunch and that was AMAZING!But the other drinks we ordered, not so much. I love how this place is decorated. It’s so nice a cozy and I feel so siddityin there. It’s nice to have a place like this locally. Read more
