4.5 stars! The customer service was phenomenal! We loved the atmosphere and quality of the food. I held off on giving the fifth... star because the onion topping of the yuca was quite salty. I was happy that I could remove it as it was poured over. Not amajor issue, but worth noting. You won't be disappointed by their empanadas! We will definitely be back. Read more
The service level of the staff was amazing! They went above and beyond to make sure our large party was taken care of! My dish... was not to the expectation of the owner so she remade it and brought me out my sides so I can eat with my family while she wasre doing the main dish. Love my people. ???????????????? Awesome food! Great location right on Lancaster Blvd. On street parking or parking in rear of the restaurant. Friendly staff,... live music on the weekends to be announced. My son and I decided to try Borinquen because of the 5 star reviews. Firstly the food was amazing, we had La Borinqueña and... Chuleta Frita. There were so many layers of flavor for everything we ate. But it just wasn?t about the food, ?Isaiah? thewaiter/son was so welcoming. The chef even came to check on us along with the owner/mama. You can taste that their food is madewith love. They radiate kindness and take pride in their restaurant. We love family owned business and we pray for theircontinued success! Read more
OMG!!!!!! This food is so so good. It's so fresh and flavorful. It makes you feel connected to the culture. The hospitality is... superb. They make you feel like family coming home to visit. The chef came out to ask us how we liked the food. I wanted to givea standing ovation but I try not to be so extra lol. I went to Boriquen today. The owner is a sweetheart. Her son is as well. This is a family owned restaurant serving authentic... Puerto Rican food. I'm from the East Coast and am excited that there is a good Puerto Rican restaurant not too far from me. Everything I ordered was tasty and well seasoned. I had the beef and cheese empanada, mofongo with crackling pork and the deepfried flan. Yummy!!! In addition to my dine-in order, I took some food home to my daughter and brother. I got white rice withbeans and I ordered the rice with pigeon peas. She threw in some roast pork and yucca and OMG they were so good. I'lldefinitely be back with friends and family.
