Our waitress last Saturday was so rude she made us feel like we were an inconvenience to be there. She barely acknowledged us... after putting our order in. When she initially came over we could tell she was not nice. The restaurant wasn?t full and it?ssmall to begin with. I understand they were probably busy but instead of her actually doing her job and just being polite shewas the exact opposite. We would have been perfectly fine and understanding if she was nice. There were 2 servers there. Ourappetizers came before our drinks. We ordered guacamole and then had to wait another 15 minutes for chips to go with them whichI had to ask for the chips twice and she didn?t respond when i asked for them. We ended up walking over to the bar to pick upour own drinks from the bartender since everything was taking so long. Then our waitress came over and accused us of takinganother drink which we didn?t. She never came to check on us through out the entire meal. We had to go to the bar each time wewanted a drink. I?ve worked in the restaurant industry so I understand being weeded but keeping a positive attitude is key andmaking sure your guests are happy since they are paying your bills. We did tip her 20% but I?ve never been so hesitant to do so.If we go there again and she?s our waitress I?ll be asking for someone else. We were a 6 top and spent over $275 there thatnight. Wow the food was surprisingly great and service was helpful and friendly. Did not know what to expect as we hadn't been back... here for many years. Was really happy we stopped in for dinner. We enjoyed our meals the next day as well because the portionswere substantial. Will return ???? Read more

Aztlan is one of Lambertville?s best kept secrets. It?s slightly off the beaten path which makes it that much better. The... portions are generous and reflect the higher than usual prices; don?t be thrown, it?s absolutely not a rip off. They have avegan menu if you?re into that and if you?ve got no dietary restrictions you can go all out with the traditional Mexican andMexican-American fare they do so well. It?s cash only but there is an ATM on-site that can be used for a small fee. It?sattached to Mitchell?s cafe which has a bar so it is not BYOB. The outdoor patio is great to sit at spring through fall. Read more

First time and definitely not the last time. Owner and head chef takes pride with his restaurant business and shows with the... quantity and quality of food. Best Mexican food I have had in a long, long time. My take out included a chicken burrito, chicken chimichanga and 2 tacos with rice and beans, fresh chips and plenty of homemade salsa. Food was very nicely packaged andthe food was incredibly delicious. The total bill was $23 and just a great deal. I can't wait to go back. Food was authentic andgreat quality. The dining area is very quaint and just a great place to have dinner and relax. Read more

I?m Italian and Swedish, but I swear there has to be some Mexican in there because I LOVE Mexican food and drinks and culture!... I?m so so excited that we were recommended this local gem. And I?m so glad you?re reading this because you NEED to go. Like getin your car, or hop on your bike, or take a plane instead of going to Mexico because this place is AH-MAZING (although theDelaware is very underwhelming compared to Mexican beaches). This place is authentic from the chef to the owner to the decor. Iloved the secret entrance down an alleyway and the music playing while we ate. There?s so much to choose from on the menu, we?llbe back to try more. Our server was very kind and catered to our picky kid eaters. I had a delicious margarita and this mound oflove the burrito sabanero ?? I?m eating my left overs for breakfast tomorrow because I can?t wait til lunch. Also the guacamolewas so creamy and the salsa was super fresh. This was genuinely the best dining experience I?ve had in a long time ?????????? Read more

Lots of Vegetarian options and great ambiance. I will say - the vegan-chorizo tacos are a bit dry (could use a Chipotle-mayo... type of sauce) and the red sauce could use more enchilada seasoning but otherwise a great place. Portions were huge and thechips and salsa were spot on. Just remember to bring cash as it's cash only but there is an AtM in the restaurant. Read more

We found this place after extensive research. Had two other Mexican restaurant recommendations; however this one seemed to call... my name. It did not disappoint!!!! I am a Mexican cuisine lover and look for authentic flavors. Aztlan totally delivered. Thisis probably the best, most authentic Mexican food I have ever eaten (and I just vacationed in Arizona). Bonus points to Aztlanfor being so vegan friendly. Read more
