Stopped here for a late lunch today as we have drove by many times and my wife recommended we try it. It did not disappoint!... Everything was absolutely delicious, and in our opinion the best Mexican food we have had in a very long time. I stronglyrecommend giving it a try if you've never been here. Our family's favorite restaurant in town by far; nowhere else compares. The food is always delicious every time we go. They... always accommodate our group, no matter the size. The food is always hot and fresh each time we go. The staff and owners areamazing and make you feel like family. Every time we've been, the owners check on each table to make sure everything is good, nomatter how busy they are, which is service we never see at other restaurants. Most comfortable bench seating ever! Older building, almost missed it from the outside but once through the door, clean, comfy,... colorful. Enchiladas with green sauce, worth it. The green sauce has the perfect heat, creeps up on you and warms your face, itswonderful. We will return! Read more
There is some great Mexican food in Lamar CO. La Luputa's came threw in a very delicious way. The margaritas were just as good... as the molcajetes we had. Would highly recommend a visit. Read more

We were driving through Lamar and fortunately found this place. The food was absolutely delicious. I had the Chili Rellano... platter and it was outstanding. It's a family owned and operated restaurant and you can tell they put a lot of effort into thefood and service. If I lived around here I would be a regular. The owner and cook brought our food to the table and visited withus. Very nice place! Read more
