We were on a 12 hour road trip and stopped at Casey?s in Lakin Ks to get gas. We had a little 5 year old and 9 year who were... pretty desperate for a bathroom. We were there at 8:45 and it didn?t close until 10:00 pm. The cashier told us we couldn?t usethe bathroom because they were cleaning them. I said, you?re still open for business and we got gas, food and drinks so weshould be able to use the bathroom. She hatefully said ?we are cleaning the bathrooms, so you can?t use them!? Wow! You need a new manager ASAP, they have a terrible work ethic from the top down. Never answer phones, never have pizza or baked... goods ready at appropriate times of day consistently, never makes their pizzas in a timely manner. I mean come on this is justlaziness on cooperates side at this point. Read more
I worked there and it's a horrible place to work for! General manager did not run the place professionally at all. No leadership... in that store what so ever! I was embarrassed to work there as a team member that's why I quit! Read more
I love Casey?s, and I?m trying to be as nice as I can, but one fuel pump for trucks, they are still having issues turning the... pumps on, the window wash buckets have been empty for three weeks. And not very nice people on the inside. Read more
Stopped in to get some breakfast at 8:30 in the morning and they're not even open when they're supposed to be. This place is... turning in to a dump never has a manager on duty and everyone is just plain lazy most of the time the bathroom is a mess and thecooler is always out of a lot of common things. Pure laziness and lack of motivation we ordered a pizza 20 minutes in advance so we wouldn?t be late to my sisters softball game... we showed up and they didn?t even start a pizza and another incident was when my sister Asked if they could make her a pizza andthe guy in the back said he didn?t feel like making a pizza witch IS HIS JOB AND THERE IS NO MANAGER SOMBODY DO SOMTHING ABOUTTHIS LAZINESS. I love casey stores vs other corporate truck stops. It started with the pizza, but I don't think your putting enough additive in... your diesel. Took me almost 30 minutes to not fill up. Could have gotten more out of me to maybe pay for the additive. Let's trythis again sometime. I buy it for the truck and I know it does add to the overall cost. Read more
Guy working the counter was extremely rude! No "welcome," nor "thank you" when I walked in and left. Needed a receipt for gas,... stood at the counter waiting. When he finally came from office in back, stopped when he saw me, rolled his eyes and sighed likehe wished I wasn't there. He asked, "What do you need?" I asked him politely for a receipt for pump 4, and he sighed like abrat, tapped the cash register keys roughly, and jerked the receipt off and slapped it in my hand, then turned around and walkedoff.
