I visited Wendy's about a week ago and was pleasantly pleased with the food and service overall. However I did notice that there... were relatively young staff members that were a little bit immature and I can do without that as I am a senior citizen but stillpretty hip and cool I think. Was told at Lakewood store they do not accept cash? My order was $12.42 and they said I have to use my card or they wouldn?t be... able to give me change? I gave the cashier $22.42 and my change was $10 exactly?. I guess they don?t have $10? There was nosigns or any indication that they only accept EXACT cash only so I waited in line during my lunch period for nothing. The drivethru was moving pretty slow too, when I finally arrived at the window I could see that every station appeared to be staffed,there were at least 7 employees on the line and one was talking to someone towards the back of the store. I worked a 12 hourshift without nutrition because they do not have $10 in their cash registers, or maybe they wanted a $10 tip? I didn?t even getan apology, just matter of fact told they needed the food back or use my card, I did not have my card with me. *in my opinionthis was the worst way to deal with a cash deficiency. It?s not my fault your leadership did not prepare. No matter what thereason I will never count on Wendy?s ever again? NEVER! You?ve lost a customer for life. This happened on Sunday October 23rdat the Lakewood Washington location on Bridgeport Blvd at about 3:30pm Wendy?s used to be fast and friendly, not so muchanymore. They just take the customers for granted it seems. Goodbye forever Wendy?s, you?ve really let me down and you have toomuch competition to be treating people poorly like this. I feel sorry for your employees, I was polite about the wholesituation but I am willing to bet other customers who received the same poor service aren?t. I tried calling the corporateoffice and the store listed on google but have been getting a busy signal or no answer all day today (Monday) so I gave up andsharing my poor customer experience here instead. The day we visited the drive thru was slammed so we decided to dine in. It was very busy inside as well. The cashier was very... friendly. They had a special needs person cleaning the dining room. The dining room was spotless. He was doing a fantasticjob. Plus our food was fresh and hot when we got it. It was an A+ experience. Which is say a lot these days. Your competitorsshould come visit this restaurant. I have told several people how impressed I was. Good job Wendy's team! Read more
3 is me being nice because the initial window lady was nice. Drinks came under full. 2 meals in one bag with the 6pc side... nuggets dumped upside down on top of orders. Also when asked about the new sauce that was not mentioned on the order app I wascut off by manager along side the initial drive they lady with her words ?it?s in the bag before checking? and walking away fromwindow. I?m home now of course and there is no sauce that was asked for from one of the orders. Tried calling the store but noanswer. Hope this isn?t a reoccurring thing. Read more
Inside is very nice to sit and enjoy your meal. Restaurant was very clean on the inside and even the parking lot was clean.... Staff was very polite and friendly. Food came out fresh hot and as ordered. Staff there seemed to be doing a good jobespecially for as busy as it was at the time. Good location for a quick tasty bite will stop in again for sure. Ordered the Strawberry Summer Salad... It comes with hot bacon on the salad. They dumped the bacon and the grease right onto the... salad so all I tasted was caked bacon grease stuck to my salad with the strawberries, apples and chicken! I couldn't eat it!What a waste of my money!!! I emptied half into the trash can so u can see the caked grease.... Read more
Easy to find with Quick in and out from Pacific Hwy South, South Tacoma Way, I-5 and 512. Easy to get in and out of the parking... lot on both sides. Parking lot and drive-thru are well maintained, free of debris, and trash can was empty. Easy to read signs.Lots of signage for deals. Fast moving line. Easy to read menu sign. Easy to hear each other on the speakers despite the roadnoise. Pleasant employees. My food was fresh and hot. Read more
Most of the time the staff are super nice and understandable, but today there was a lady at the drive through taking my order... with a neck tattoo and she was so unbelievably rude, she continued to repeat my order to be incorrectly until I said sure,that?s what I ordered. I?m so disappointed at this experience and I won?t be coming back anytime soon. Edit: I?d like to addthat they took my card and didn?t communicate with me or give it back for a solid 10 minutes.
