I'm from Chicago and when I saw this JJ's I immediately got excited. I have been coming here for over 3 years and the service is... EXCELLENT! My fiance and I had a fanatic meal here. We didn't realize it was take out only but the guy working didn't seem to mind. He let... us eat inside and gave us a 15% discount for being first time customers. The chicken and fish we ordered were fresh battered andcooked. His service and care of his food were amazing. Came in and was greeted quickly. Food is pricey, but everywhere is now. We were treated well, given the newbie discount :), and... even added a few onion rings for us to try! Dont expect fast food, but it comes out fresh, and in an amount of time that makesme feel its cooked to temp. Read more
My husband and I shared the small platter I think it's called. It's 35.99 we had catfish, shrimp, chicken wings and it comes... with a few slices of white bread. The service is great and the food is even better. Great tartar sauce, my favorite is ivars butJJ's was pretty good. Read more
I’m going through one of the hardest parts of my life. And the customer service and food is amazing. I even called back to... thank the drive through for the amazing service. I will come back as much as I can. I highly recommend. EDIT: I now understandwhy there is never more than 1 person in the drive through. They don’t care about serving everyone. I waited 7 minutes in thedrive through with no response. And then I put my car in reverse and left. A very sad experience because I planned on cominghere regularly but I can make better food at home for less time, less money, and better customer service. Edit #3: I don’tknow who the guys think they are. I have them another chance because I want to support small businesses but that’s a terribleidea for this place. I hope the owner reads this because your employees don’t care. I ordered 2 Italian beef sandwiches andand every thing was “okay” until I got home and realized there was cheese in the sandwiches. I can’t eat cheese so Icalled back and the response I got was “that’s how they come.” That’s false because the last time I ordered therewasn’t any cheese. It’s an Italian beef sandwich and not a Philly cheesesteak. Someone messed up and doesn’t want to beheld accountable. I am disappointed in the lack professionalism at this place. Don’t waste your time coming here. There’sprobably at least 10 other restaurants that you can get better service within a 5 mile radius. Read more

Chef Moe makes some awesome fried food. Never soggy, always Crispy fried fish, crispy fries, New York style pizza. Love this... spot. I recommend the pizza, it's one of my favorite pizzas, even in just plain cheese with no toppings. I always get theirfried tilapia and their fried gizzard are great also. He may talk a little rough if you are not used to it but that's just howeast coast people talk. I've ate here three times in the past 15 days. Read more
