Been by this place a few times. Open seating. Place was cute and fun, the atmosphere was very neighborhood vibe. The server was... nice and the restaurant was clean. Food options were great, had a lot of specials on the white board. Decided on corned beefhash, made in house. It was pretty good. I?d definitely go back. Read more
Very good food, however definitely not LGBT friendly in the bar. We were not treated well and it was pretty apparent that it was... specifically for us, we were glared at numerous times by the bartender, she clearly is not a supporter nor ally and itdefinitely changed our experience there. But the service we got in the restaurant was amazing, our server was amazing, she wassuper helpful and everybody else in the place seemed to be great! And the food was really good! We wish all aspects of the placewould have been the same way but still not the world we live in today unfortunately. It won?t deter us from going back into therestaurant portion though! Read more
Had an absolutely horrible breakfast experience here this morning. First off, i ordered a club soda and was brought a tonic... water instead. We told the waitress that she made a mistake and said all they had is tonic water, which didn't make any sense atall. My wife walked to the bar and got a club soda for me and brought it back to the table. We should have known to pick up andleave at that point, but we have been to Bur's many times before and I have never had a bad experience here. My wife orderedsausage eggs over medium with toast. She got runny eggs, barely cooked eggs, in fact with runny white egg whites and runnyabsolutely uncooked centers. It was really nasty. We placed the eggs on a plate and set them on the end of the table to get thewaitress's attention and all we got was ignored. The waitress never came back until she brought us the bill, although she walkedby us about ten thousand times and did nothing but ignore us. My breakfast was equally bad. This place has really gone downhill. Stay away. I'm actually really surprised at how lousy both the service and the food was. It was over $50 for this fiasco,and we still tipped the waitress 20%. The waitress did take one of the coffees off of the bill at the end after my wifecomplained about the runny eggs, but it would have been nice if that didn't get resolved until right before we left. We went here for the first time today for breakfast and it was good so decided to return and try it for dinner. What a... difference between breakfast and dinner. If I was rating this just on breakfast it would have been 5 stars. Our server, Mandy,for breakfast was excellent, checking on us multiple times despite being busy. My husband had the biscuits and gravy breakfastwith a side of bacon. It was so good he finished his whole plate which also came with hash browns. I had the California scramblewhich came with a big helping of hash browns. I couldn't finish my breakfast the helping was so big. At dinner our server,Allaya, never checked on us, we had trouble getting her attention if we needed something, she only gets 1 star. If she trainedwith Mandy it could be helpful for her. At dinner I had ice tea which tasted like water. I had the special shrimp scampi whichcould have used more flavor. It was served with burnt (black) garlic bread. I asked for it to be replaced. I have been here before and enjoyed this restaurant. This visit the waitress was great but the food left a lot to desire. The... kids meals were $9.49 and the French toast meal was just the toast and an orange juice. The eggs Benedict was lackluster andbland along with the hashbrowns which I asked to be remade because they were cold and undercooked. Disappointing as I know thisrestaurant to have a good reputation in the community. Again the waitress was quick and Friendly and the atmosphere is nice. Thecost of the kids meal would be better received if there was fruit or sides included. Overall I would not patron this restaurantagain. Read more
Great little neighborhood restaurant! Food was good staff is always friendly. You really ought to support this neighborhood... restaurant couple of big family round tables in the front booze for two table and room in the back. We hold a monthly retirementluncheon here once a month. But it is a great little place to stop in and have a family meal. It has been in business for years! Read more
