I would call the food I received from Simply Thai "hot trash", but it wasn't hot- so i can't even give it that title. I received... it from uber eats, however, it being close to cold when getting it was only one of the several failures of these dishes. Blanketshrimp: absolutely inedible. The shrimp was so dried out I couldn't pull it off the stick using both hands as hard as I couldpull. The one I did manage to get off the stick and bite into was tougher than beef jerky. Chicken wings: would have probablybeen pretty good if they were warm and not soggy. Spring rolls were tasty however again- not hot, however burnt on the outside.Tom Kha soup was ok-ish... haven't actually tried that soup before but the beef was all stuck together in two or three clumps inthe container. Did not provide utensils or any extra sauces as requested. Overall pretty terrible take out experience. Spent 50dollars on what was only about 12 dollars of edible food. Read more
I?ve been here a million times, but a new chef made THE WORST DRUNKEN NOODLES (mushy noodles, bland noodles, no spice) and Kelly... told me to come in for a remake. They said since I didn?t bring the poorly made drunken noodles they wouldn?t make me anotherone. This place is honestly mediocre when it comes to Thai food in Nashville. Thai phooket, Ginger Thai, and Eastern Peak areprobably better choices. I really rooted for you all? even after seeing roaches ???? in the building (I mean it?s a hole in thewall restaurant), even after the foul smell ruminating from the kitchen. The pad Thai here is single-handedly the worst pad Thai I have ever had in my life. Super oily, zero flavor or nutrients. I had... to douse it with sriracha to get it to taste like something. Zero bean sprouts, zero onions or carrots or basil or literallyanything. You just get a sloppy serving of noodles and a protein with a wedge of lime. Mediocre, at best. Also ordered a seconditem with no mushrooms (allergy) and they sent it with mushrooms in it. So that was fun. Then to boot, it?s packaged instyrofoam??? In 2022?? Naw. Hard pass. Read more
Duck was burnt on top and chewey and then the noodles ask for sauce and peanuts didn?t get either. Also the Thai tea had two... bugs in it I sent back once got second one both bugs on top. I?m never coming here again . Duck wasn?t hot was bland and noodleswasn?t made right. Not to mention long wait from a birthday party . Food was great! Great prices! The server spilled sauce on my friend, didn't bring her drink until she asked again, and didn't... bring out the last appetizer until I was almost done with my food, but she was the only server on the floor... So I understand..still frustrating on my end. Read more
Overall, I was pretty happy with my food! I got it delivered to my place, so I can't comment on the service or atmosphere, but I... can say that the person over the phone was very helpful. He was able to confirm that the curry base was vegan very quickly. Iended up getting fresh rolls (sorry they're half-eaten in the picture - they were super tasty) and a Mussaman Curry with friedtofu and extra vegetables. The fresh rolls were great, and I love that they come with two different sauces. They had ricenoodles in them, too, so that was a bonus. The curry was a little thinner than others I've had, but it was really refreshing inthat way. The flavor wasn't as bold as I expected for Mussaman Curry, but it was still very enjoyable. I like that it waslighter than most other curries out there. My only complaint was that I found a piece of beef in my food. I definitely stillfinished it, but it was a little shocking to find that in my vegan dish (also included a picture). It isn't going to stop mefrom ordering from here again, because I still enjoyed everything a lot. Read more
I was kind of taken a back by the 4.6 rating after trying the food? I would not say this is authentic Thai food. The restaurant... itself is run down from the outside to the inside. The inside has an odd fowl odor. Positive reviews on the service andquickness of receiving my carry out order. Easy enough I ordered Pad Thai and an order of spring rolls. Not the best springrolls I?ve had and they taste like the smell of the restaurant. Kinda gross. The pad thai was okay, wayyy too much oil was usedand no fresh flavor like I prefer. Read more
This place is amazing! Everyone is really nice, the restaurant is clean, and the food is AMAZING. Best Thai food I've ever had.... 10/10 highly recommend! I'm actually going out to eat there AGAIN with my mom right now. ???? We go at least twice a week. Read more
