I get the same (INCREDIBLE) item every time I go. The pizza ?sub?. It?s called a sub, but it?s more like a fold over. I add... pepperoni. I lived far away for a couple years and thought about this sub all the time and missed it deeply. This place rocks,try the pizza deluxe sub! Read more
Pizza was excellent. Very tasty and done just right. However, not so true for the Antipasto Salad. Ordered a large salad,... most of the pieces were hard or wilted it was supposed to come with Salami, Ham, and mozzarella cheese. The Salami was such askimpy portion, and the Ham and the Cheese were totally left off and omitted. I certainly did not get what I paid for wastotally disappointed with the salad that I threw out over half of it. I guess the moral of the review is that it's best youstick with just ordering pizza. Ordered $37 dollars worth of food tonight, and it was absolute garbage. The pizza had very little sauce, and it tasted like... tomatoes no spice or flavoring. The wings had barely any BBQ sauce on them. The cookie wasn't even cut, the edges were burnt,but the rest wasn't even cooked. It was raw dough. Apparently they need new employees. Tonight we ordered pizza delivery from this Hungry Howie's location on Detroit Ave. and we were VERY HAPPY! We've only lived in... the Lakewood, OH. area for a year, so over the last few months, my family has been ordering delivery from a few different localpizza restaurants to try them out so we could see which we like the best. We found one local restaurant that has great pizza,but it's really pricey. The 3 other pizza places we tried were VERY disappointing. Tonight we tried Hungry Howie's and I FINALLYfound a nearby pizza spot that hit the spot, our pizzas were delivered early and they were delicious! I'm pregnant and I've beencraving pizza a lot lately, and this Hungry Howie's is the only pizza joint that has truly satisfied those cravings so far. Wewill definitely order from this location again! (Update) I'm dropping my two star review to a one star review. I ordered the Asian wings which I've had before and it's... blatantly obvious that whoever made them was in such a hurry they didn't clean out the seasoning tub so I'd taste sweet Asiansauce followed by hot buffalo sauce. So not only did I wait more than twice as long as I was told but my $16 wings were not whatI ordered and nothing was done to . Attempt to rectify my awful experience. I ordered my pizza online for carry out and my ordersaid it would be ready for pickup in 20 minutes. I cam in 25 minutes later and my order has not been started and I'm told it'sgoing to be at least 15 more minutes. What's the point of getting a pickup time if it's going to be wildly off? He seemedshocked to see my order so my guess is that they are not checking online orders. Maybe don't do online orders if they don'treflect correct times. Was offered nothing but a long wait with hungry toddlers at home for my trouble. Customer serviceeverywhere in this city has become a very bad joke. I'm extremely easy to satisfy but with my work schedule I don't often get tohave dinner with my kids and it looks like tonight I won't get to either. WOW 100% the best pizza I have had in ages!!! The stuffed crust is AMAZING, ample toppings. The lady who took my order was super... nice, offered a coupon, the delivery guy was really nice. Hit the bullseye for sure!!! Read more
Just good pizza. Never ate there but clean and friendly staff. Prices are very good.
