I had such a horrible and disappointing experience. To make a long story short. I'll just say, the 2 bowls of soup were more... like 2 half cups of soup each, which tasted old, extremely salty and concentrated. I also ordered a grown-up grilled cheese anda regular grilled cheese. I received 2 grown-up grilled cheese. I placed a complaint online never got a call back. Read more
DO NOT order to go from here. Ordered two sandwiches and was told an estimate of 15 minutes for pickup. When I arrived, the... lobby was packed but the restaurant was barely sat. When I asked about my order, I found that two other to go orders were alsowaiting. After the host checked on the order we were all given an “I don’t know about those orders. We are really backed uptoday.” And that was the only solution I was provided. Don’t trust this place to give good or fast service. Read more
Ate at Village Inn and hostess started the experience on a positive note. Super friendly and welcoming then our waitess was... informative + able to meet my husband's needs to mix and match food. I would visit again for both a cost effective breakfastand friendly faces. Read more
Started with chicken noodle soup and it was nice and hot and just the right consistency. Not too thick. Then the turkey bacon... avocado melt was great because Village Inn is one of the only restaurants that uses real roasted turkey and nit lunchmeat. Thankyou. Read more
always check your take out orders, this place is run by goofs, here's a california skillet missing hollandaise sauce, avocados... and overcooked eggs, they don't issue refunds for their own mistakes either, never going back to any village inn. Read more
Really disappointed with our server Jessica today. She is not at all professional. All Jessica cares about is doing side work.... Customers are her last priority. We were told to wait to be seated so she could do her side work. She served me a glass of waterwith a lipstick stain on it. While I acknowledge that this is not entirely her fault she continued to do side work forgetting toget me a new glass. She would then drop off the check with the food to almost rush us saying “ I’ll be your cashier whenyour ready idk if you heard me” she then never checked on us personally instead kept yelling across the dining room whileshe’s doing her side to tasks asking if we need anything. She watched me accidentally spill something and my boyfriend had towalk up to the host station and get me more napkins while she sat and folded silverware. I really hope the general manager has adiscussion with Jessica about proper serving skills. The food was excellent though cheers to the cooks. Read more
This is a nice spot for good meal anytime of the day. The employees all act with a sense of urgency. There was a bit of a wait... because everything is now opening back up with covid on the Run. So they were doing probably double the work that they normallydo is employees at the restaurant making it a little rough but they handled it very well and everyone was pleasant including ourserver. Online order for pickup. 10:54amorder time pickup at 11:12am. Mexican short rude waitress was at a customer's table screaming to... me that the order will take 15 more minutes. She then starting talking about me in a negative way. The white taller waitressjust ignored me. I attempted to leave as the short mexican called me curse words. My mother came in to wait for the order andwaited a other 20 min as both waitresses ignored her. This is the absolute worst experience I/we have ever experienced at anyrestaurant or any establishment. If you have to hire people like that I am unsure how other people are treated here. I havelived in Lakewood my whole life and used to come here often this has gone to a bad place staff wise. Read more
