Reviews for New Peking Chinese Restaurant in Lakewood, CO
We get take out from here atleast 5 times a month from here for 2 years now. They give you very generous portions as well. Best... Chinese I've had! Great quality ingredients as well (I usually get sick from poor quality meat) Our favorite items are: sesamechicken, chicken and broccoli, combo lo mein, egg drop soup and curry chicken. Read more
Dismissive attitude for a ghost kitchen of a restaurant. Was polite after I paid and was given the hand to leave. Food basic... cheap Chinese take out at best, clear they are too cheap to pay for wait staff, skimp on the food as well. Read more

New to the area and was looking for a local spot, and found it! Great Chinese!! Had the combo lo mein with egg rolls. Everything... was delicious, and I could tell they use quality ingredients, the shrimp was my favorite part. Egg rolls were light and crispy, and the sweet & sour sauce was authentic! Good portions, and yummy! Read more
I personally don?t understand why the price is so high when the taste is about the same as places a little more than half the... cost with prob a third entree. Long wait and no offense to guy at counter but could have been more personable. Felt rushed toget something then was asked to wait in car. Received my order in almost like here u go I?m doing you a favor kind of way. Youshould ask if we need utensils or plate in bag as not everyone is taking it home.So i feel it was pointless as I still had to goback inside and ask for utensils and plate and extra sauce. Overall serving should be higher for what the price. No fortunecookie at least or drink or something. Last thing to note I went to throw away my plate in trash behind this place there was atleast a family of minimum 10 rats that ran away when I approached it. Not projecting that there is any at this establishment butit?s just a little too close for comfort. Read more
Another Colorado Chinese food FAIL. Absolutely disgusting. Waste of a drive. I ordered the Lo Mein which tasted like noodles... doused in Soy Sauce. Ordered the General and Orange chicken after the owner said how different they were, got home and theytasted equally disgusting and exactly the same. The fried rice was bland with no flavor. Just horrible food and horriblecustomer service. The only saving grace was the crab cheese wontons which were half way decent. You are literally better offgoing to Panda Express where at least the Orange chicken is sweet and tastes like Orange chicken. Don't waste your time or moneyhere. I would give it a zero rating if I could. Disappointed NY'er here in CO for sure. Read more
7/2/21: moo shu pork dinner was fabulous, as usual. Haven't been here in two years. Food was fabulous! Now only takeout, but... they made me order and stand outside next to my car. Or, maybe they let rich people eat inside (see pic). Or maybe theseexpensive cars belong to the employees (not my car). I wouldn't mind but the inside was nice and soothing and the service wasexcellent. This place was great! We both had the mu shu pork dinner and it was excellent. We both took pancakes home. Hot andsour soup was exceptional, too. And the service was great. This place has the feel of an owner run family business. Willdefinitely return. Read more
The chicken chow mein was just plain vegetables and chicken. No sauce, no noodles, nothing. How do you not have noodles in a... chow mein? Just chicken pieces with onion, celery and sprouts. Very weird. We also got the General Taos chicken and the saucetasted like barbecue sauce. Also weird. It was unlike anything I've ever had at a Chinese restaurant, and unfortunately I don'tmean that in a positive way. Read more
