The food was delicious, but after checking the online menu at home, with pictures of the dishes, I'm not sure I got what I... ordered. I ordered vegetable masala and expected the sauce to be red and creamy, but it looked and tasted more like a curry.Looking at the pictures for ordering online, it looks exactly like the vegetable curry, not the red masala (the curry is also $1less than the masala). I didn't think anything of it at the restaurant because it was my first time there, and Indian dishes atdifferent restaurants don't always look and taste similar. Posting a picture for proof. The staff were attentive and nice. Therestaurant and bathroom were clean. If I'm ever in the Belmar area again, I'd come here again. For the price point, it wasdisappointing that the meals come with basmati rice, instead of saffron rice like at my more local Indian restaurant, whichisn't as expensive as this one. I know saffron is the most expensive spice in the world, so it costs a lot to serve it, but for$15-20 per entree, I kind of expected saffron rice. Not a complaint, just an observation. My group's only complaint is thateach time we stated our entree, we were asked "What bread do you want with it?" And the server pointed at the naan at the bottomof the menu. So having never been here before, we all assumed that we missed where it said that our entree came with naan on theside, and they were just showing us our choices. We were wrong. None of us would have ordered naan had we not been asked whatkind we wanted with our meal. So, it was a little surprising seeing naan on the check at the end of the meal. We did tell ourserver that it was confusing how they asked about it, because it wasn't clear it was extra, and that none of us would haveordered it had we known. We were polite and all still paid for it because we could have clarified with the server instead ofassuming; it just was unexpected. Now we know for next time if they ask us "what bread do you want?" we Read more

Incredible quality wildly delicious food. Their Masala is the best I think I have ever had. They will also spice it up very... nicely for you if you ask. Happy hour offers cheap beer and discounted appetizers. So so worth it. Read more

Friendly and quick service. The masala was awesome. My complaint was the chicken wasn’t seasoned outside of that. Otherwise.... Everything a very good! Read more

Great food and friendly service. I had the madras (amazing), which you can't get at most Indian restaurants. Music from the... kitchen competing with music from the bar was annoying. Be aware that some draft beers are only 8 ounces, and some are 16ounces. If that matters to you, ask before you order, because there is no volume indication on the menu. Read more
