Although the bed was made, the sheets in my room were definitely not clean. The sheets were wrinkled from use and hairs were on... the pillowcase and between the sheets. This hotel is disgusting. We checked into our first room and had to be moved because the bed was a mess, the room was not... cleaned. Our second room had soap that had been opened and used. Shower was used. Glasses were so filthy on the shelf. Hallwaysare gross. The whole hotel has a small. For as new as it is, it?s not well kept. I wouldn?t stay here again. Read more

I would not recommend staying at the Home2 in Lakewood due to poor management and theft problems. As soon as I checked in I was... warned by the front desk of their staffing issues and that all of management quit that day. I did not think much of it as manyplaces are having staffing issues at this time. I left to run errands for the day and did not receive housekeeping which waswhat was planned. I came back to find $400 worth of my items stolen from my room despite house keeping not coming through forthe day. When I reported the issue to the front desk they claimed that I had to wait for maintenance to come in the next day.When I spoke to maintenance they said I had to wait for the general manager to come in later on in the week to get any answers.Needless to say I was not comfortable staying at this hotel any longer and moved on to a different one. It has now been 2 weekssince this has happened and I have yet to hear anything from anyone at the hotel. When I called for an update the receptionistsaid that the hotel is not liable for my missing items. How is the hotel not liable for one of their employees rummaging throughmy bag and taking personal items?!? Read more

I would give a negative star review if I could. Horrible experience. I had some make-up stolen from my room, in the end it was... over $100 worth. I noticed on Sunday morning and reported it immediately to the front desk. I had to go down and speak withsomeone in person. I was told I would hear back from a manager the following day. I went back to finish getting ready and noticemore make-up missing. I didn't make any further complaints about the missing make-up because I was told I would hear from amanager. It's now Thursday and yet to hear back from a manager or anyone else. I don't care about the make-up value, but itbothers me that the items were take from our room. On a day that it was clear there was no cleaning done in our room. The personwho stole from our room had time to go through my make-up bag and pick what they wanted to take. It's upsetting to think you cantrust a hotel, and then when something happens they don't care to do anything about it. I was worried the rest of our stay aboutthe few things we did leave there after having stolen items. I DO NOT recommend staying here, find somewhere else to stay,plenty of options in the area. We stayed at home2suits as we are members of Hilton but had a very bad experience this trip at the hotel. We reserved a room on... one side of building and got a room on opposite side of building. They did not clean the room after we requested twice, we askedfor clean towels and they did not provide . Told us they were low on towels, we used same two towels for four days. The exhaustfan in bathroom didn?t work and kitchen is right across the bathroom and smelled when we use the bathroom. Pillows were awfuland asked extra pillow n never provided one. The TV remote wouldn?t work half the time. We were supposed to stay for 5 days butleft on 4th day because we couldn?t stay anymore and got a different hotel for that night. The young guy who works in theafternoon/evenings was so rude, he wouldnt provide us with any towels and never told maintenance to clean room after we askedhim to have it cleaned, he said they will clean room after four days. We Never will stay at this hotel, called Hilton customercare and left the feedback about the stay. Read more

Poor management, and if you ask for water because there was none in the refrigerator to buy, you might be ok, as long as you're... not interrupting them scrolling through their phone. or maybe you'll get a lecture on the water fountain around the corner. Ifyou stay here be aware that the exterior lower back door doesn't close. I Tried to pull it shut but it is bent at the top hinge.Even when management is clearly aware (they post signs letting you know not to prop open the door for security reasons) of thebroken door. How would you know they are aware of the door out back not shutting?? Because this is the door that they exit totake their smoke breaks, including the manager. Positive: The breakfast is good. Staff is friendly and the kitchenette is convenient. Negative: I had a Queen bed with a pull... out couch/ hid-abed. When we pulled out the hide-abed it was covered in dog hair!! Only was left with one sheet to cover it.Makes you wonder how long it has been since they pulled the couch apart!¿¿ Read more
