This place is really bad. I keep giving them another chance and am always disappointed. Soggy, inedible burritos. Zero flavor on... anything except for the salsa. Pretty sure the guacamole comes out of a can. They have served me undercooked rice several times.I don?t know how this place has so many 5 star reviews. I have a feeling a lot of these reviews are fake. I?ve been here 4 or 5times and it?s a complete disaster every time. Customer Service was good. However, the food is not authentic Mexican. I ordered a bacon potatoes eggs breakfast burrito... smothered. The smothered sauce is just salsa splashed over the top. The bacon is of a lesser quality. The food is bland.Ironically Not a place for Mexicans to eat lol. We need flavor and spice. Read more
The burritos are a good size, you can get steak which is the flat meat steak but still good tasting for 7.99 which is... reasonable. They have a large menu to select from. But the service is slow you have to wait about 10-15 minutes to get yourfood, this is going through the drive thru. But other than that the food is great and the breakfast burritos are my favorite. Have not eaten here yet but after working 14 hours, finishing a little after 10pm and starving, come across Burrito Express. I... tried a few restaurants before calling them but nobody answered or they answered and their kitchen was closed. I tried callinggrito express as well 3 times but no one answered. Decided to go ahead and make the 30 minute drive there based on the factthat there real time said they were unusually busy at the moment.... At the moment being about 10:20pm and since their hourslisted said they were open till 11 PM then obviously they are still open and their hours listed on Google are indeed correct.Well the hours are correct, I think, but they closed 15min early. This place is only good for breakfast burritos. Everything else I?ve tried is terrible. The pork tamales taste like dog food,... with canned enchilada sauce. The steak is dry and flavorless. They?re also really stingy with hot sauce so if you ask for some,make sure you check your bag before you leave. Read more
Used to be a "hidden gem" for Denver burritos. The grilled chicken is especially good. However, prices have risen and portion... sizes have gone down significantly in May/June of 2022. Now I won't go out of my way to eat here, as 2 of the last 3 visits haveresulted in something that looked less like a burrito, and more like a tortilla with a thin filling of still good flavors. Can I just tell you this place is authentic and delicious! I had the Chili Rellenos and they were better than well known Mexican... restaurants. They actually used roasted chili instead of the canned chilies. I highly recommend this place. Read more
