This our first time at Dave's Hot Chicken I heard that name before it originally started in East Hollywood remember a friend of... mine tell there's a great Chicken sandwich place in East Hollywood. A dream comes true now they restaurants locations over thesouthern California. I was tell my wife I was very curious about Dave's Hot Chicken we saw one in the city of Rosemead. Wehave eaten all kind of chicken sandwich including Nashville,Korean,fusion,etc.. The Dave's Hot Chicken location we went to inLakewood we decided to try it out. We park then we step in the restaurant we say wow what unique restaurant then we say themenu then we decided to order the two slider combo. We waited for our number to be called and final they call our number Ipick up our meal and head were we seated at. The Sliders look very good one bite wow very good chicken sandwich we didn't pickany heat. The Sliders have a good flavor including the fries it also have sauce by the side. The food is excellent. This is great hot chicken, great fries and the sliders are on point. The spice is so good. Heat that goes... through several stages and leaves that tingly feeling on your lips and tongue. The fries are some of the best out there, crispcoating with fresh fluffy potato inside and crinkle cut is fun. The spice powder on top is a nice touch too. Extra pickles inthe box is always welcome and with the slice of bread you ha e the opportunity to build the classic Nashville Hot Chicken thatyou crave. So if it is this good, why 4 stars out of 5? It's expensive. $26 for two meals and you don't get a drink withit... Portion size is generous. Quality is excellent. But still the price hurts. This outlet is going to contest with fast foodoutlets and thus the price point is a big issue. That said, this is worth it as a payday treat or if you have the cash to burn. Read more
I wanted to really love this place, but I feel let down. The chicken was good and juicy- very hot tender had a lil heat. The... fries were seasoned and prepared decent, but they were obviously frozen- big let down especially considering the limited menu. Prices are high- combo with drink will be $16-18 Read more
Brand new building, therefore everything very clean and nice. Food was really good, the chicken was tender the buns are soft... and the fries well seasoned. Fast and friendly service. Long drive-thru line but very accessible dine-in since is a new locationand is not yet known by the community. Place is good, I really like the chicken here. They did take long for my order, I had to wait for 30min. I placed another order... to go which was 1 chicken sandwich for my daughter but when I got home and opened it, it was the wrong item. They gave me 1chicken tender, I was disappointed because I did have to wait again for 30min for my to go order. I understand that they justopened this place so there still learning but hope next time my order is correct and that I don't have to wait as long. Read more
First time here. Came almost at mid-night. Young man on the counter had a great attitude and customer service. Didn?t catch his... name, but he looks like a young version of 50 Cent. Only suggestion I could give is for them to clean up the tablescontinuously. Seems like they get a lot of traffic, so they need to keep up with it. Read more
