Wow this place is so cool! There are antiques all over the walls. So many different ones, you'll never get to see them all! ... My favorite part, the hummingbird & squirrel feeders all outside the windows of the restaurant. They have so many birds & it'sso fun to watch while you eat! We had a very large group for Sunday morning brunch & they took great care of us. There wastons of food at the buffet & all of it was absolutely delicious! We went back Tuesday evening for dinner and it was ok. The damwas closed this time unfortunately.. so instead of it being a 20 minute drive from Stetson's, it took its over an hour to getthere. The reason I insisted we go back to Gatsons for dinner before we left, was that I was super looking forward to seeingthe hummingbirds at the feeders. During Sunday brunch we had too many people with us, so I couldn't watch the feeders. So Iwent there just for that this time, then all of their feeders were empty! Every hummingbird feeder was empty and there wasn't ahummingbird in sight. When we arrived it was only 7pm and hummingbirds will eat at feeders all the way until dark. I fullyexpected them to still be there, but they went wherever the food was. So it was disappointing because we wouldn't have madethe hour drive if we would have known that the hummingbird feeders were empty. My boyfriend's food was good, he was happy withit. I ordered fettuccine Alfredo and the noodles were very thick and the sauce was as thin as water. I ended up giving it backand just eating a salad. Sunday brunch is really the way to go with Gastons. Next time we are in Arkansas on the weekend, wewill be back. Please fill your feeders more often Gastons! Read more
The food was so dang good. With beef prices rising as much as it has, I have a hard time getting steak at restaurants that I am... unfamiliar with... But, I'm so glad that the lady serving us dared me to put my money where my mouth was. That was by far thebest, and biggest, 12oz prime rib I've had. The peppered rub and the unbelievably tender, buttery, meat was something you don'tfind too often. The food, the atmosphere, the scenery on the water, all of the watches, bikes, and trolling motors from yearsgone by, live music across the yard, chipmunks and squirrels coming up to you on the walkway, and the PEACOCKS running free...It was an unexpected and extraordinary experience and I truly hope to be back soon and often. You do need a reservation that Iwasn't aware of, but if you don't have one, you're welcome to eat in the bar room. Read more

The food was delicious and the view was amazing! On top of that, the atmosphere was very unique and charming. I had the pan... seared trout without the sauce, but I think next time I will get the sauce. I also got a slice of the lavender cheesecake and itwas amazing, I tried to get the recipe. Read more
