Such a beautiful place. My wife and I have visited and revisited over the past many years, and neither the staff nor the food... has disappointed. This stop was the hidden gem of our mountains of GA and NC vacation. We were staving and the pickings were lean in the area so... we stopped at this very cute little place to try and find some food. We found a wonderful lunch counter style eatingestablishment with a cute little shop. The folks running it were very sweat, wonderful, southern ladies who know how to makegreat food and provided excellent customer service. We were very impressed and wished we could spend even longer there (even thebathroom was adorable and very clean?a rarity when you travel). As a bonus, the store also owns a little park across the riverwhere you can sit by a nice little river and eat in the shade. Very picturesque and chill when you have been driving all overcreation and hiking all day. Highly recommend stopping in if you are anywhere nearby. Read more

We visited Thursday after a short hike at Tallulah Gorge before the Nicole rain. Ordered Pimento sandwich, lentil soup, and... tomato basil soup. Their pimento was excellent.
