Ok so I remember when they had the shop called "Got Candy" downtown lakeland. And I would always purchase their Chocolate Toffee... bark while my daughters would get Unicorn Milkshakes. I only know about them creating the milkshake, I'm sure someone made itbefore them but they brought it to Lakeland. Lol I used to see the owner all the time because we used to get our nails done bythe same nail tech. Always the NICEST, WARMEST, and PLEASANT PERSON!! I'm not going to beg you to take my money and that's whatI feel like what's missing with a the unfortunate things they have going on in the world. Just smile...you never know whatsomeone is going through....and what I was going through Thursday at the food truck rally was anything BUT my day...However, thesmile and the experience I received from the food truck was all I needed. Cheesecake is my favorite dessert so OBVIOUSLY is wasgoing to get the Cheesecake on a stick, BUT what surprised me the most was that Cheesecake cookie. At first it looks like an icecream sandwich, but its Cheesecake filling. And the cookies are homemade and fresh!! Im an amateur baker and i can tell lolOMG!!! DELICIOUS!!! I'm currently eating my 4th and last one now ???????????? but I'll find you guys. When I get married or forany occasion, you're definitely on my list. And the Watermelon lemonade.....SPEECHLESS!!! These cakes were SOOOO good! We got a red velvet with cream cheese icing and a cheesecake! Lea and her crew showed off on these... cakes! My taste buds were HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY!!! The proof is in the pictures. We stopped by the cute pink Got Desserts truck at Lakeland Food Truck Rally. The team was amazing,... and they had multiple dessert options. We went all in with the Chocolate Cobbler, Strawberry Lemonade, and the Carrot Cake. TheChocolate Cobbler was perfect, it was moist and filled with chocolate goodness. The team added ice cream to the cobbler and thatwas the cherry on top! My husband drank all the lemonade before we made it to back to our car, so that says everything! We savedthe carrot cake for tonight....well... I sampled a little piece early morning, and OMGGG its full of flavor, you have to tryit! Next time you're at the Lakeland Food Truck Rally make sure you stop by the Got Dessert Truck and grab some goodies-- it'sworth it! Read more
10 out of 10 would recommend got dessert for any dessert needs. They are so amazing and nice. We went in for a cake testing was... surprised of the size of cake we got for our testing. We ended up spending 3 hours at this testing. It was an amazingexperience. Everything was very detailed and wonderful. Very thoughtful and gave us a amazing ideas. No one better. Read more
The carrot cake is so beyond yummy, delicious, and moist. I don't even think my mom's is as good as the one I get at Got... Candy...just don't tell my mom I said that. lol. Recently I had the cheesecake on a stick and was very impressed with that aswell. I love trying the foods that they have on this food truck as they get it right, every single time. I used to go to theirstore when they had that downtown, and they always outdid themselves. I love that they have the food truck and I can do eventsand have them show up. They always have a smile and a cheerful demeanor and awesome customer service. And nothing sayshappiness like taking a bite of their cupcakes that are moist and perfect. I love that I can stop in and not only enjoy the sweet treats that Lea and her crew make everyday but also have the use of their... Wi-Fi. I can get work done without having to make my customers wait 30 more minutes until I get back to the office. I highlyrecommend Lea and her ability to go above and beyond for her customers to ensure they are completely happy with their purchases. Read more
