WOW. My husband and our son went. They semi checked the bag and left. I called to politely ask if we could come back and get our... missing food. I had to call 4 times. Was not given a name of the young woman who answered. For her to cuss, yell, and playaround with whoever she was at work with. She hung up on me. Had an attitude when I called back to make sure I could come backand then hung up on me again. I'll be calling corporate with her name. Maybe stop being rude to nice ppl? Read more
Terrible Service.....Went through the drive through.. ordered a meal ..was told to pull around due to the associate were gonna... drop fresh food. Waiting extremely to long ..Mean wild I inquire about why it was continuing to take awhile after the time theytold me...Well a African American young lady basically immediately became angry because I was inquiring and told me that need tounderstand that their was a Artistic young man that was handling my food and I need to understand and be patient withhim....She then went to the cash register brought me a receipt..walk away cursing me out ...the argument got so heated andunprofessional..the young African American lady came out side and wanted to continue arguing and tried to jump at me..whileother employees held her back...Check the camera's ...This is not how you treat customers..Shame on Checkers hiring rude anddisrespectful employees like this .she really brought me out my Character. What a waste of $40. Most of my food went in the trash. The wings were for sure cooked twice. My mother cruncher was also double... cooked. The chicken was dry and rubbery. The fries were super burnt. I?d love to return the food to the restaurant but the ladythat handed me my food had a terrible attitude while just handing me my food. She didn?t even give me a chance to grab a hold ofmy food and turned away and closed the window. I wasn?t even sure if that was it. She just turned away. Terrible customerservice and horrible food. Worst checkers in Lakeland. They were good when they reopened but within a few weeks they are back to their old ways. Every time... I order a spicy chicken sandwich it is burnt to a crisp and not edible. I wouldn't recommend to a drunk person, save yourstomach and money. Diane is the manager and she does not do her job, id recommend immediate replacement because she avoided mycomplaint and left it up to her crew member to defuse. This happened at 12 in the afternoon, no excuse because they werent busyand id assume the food is why. This food taste like yesterday's food warmed back up. There is a survey customers can fill outthat all checkers give you through a receipt and that goes to corporate and the information that is needed to complete it is noton the receipt. My hubby and I went to Checkers (south side) and ordered 10 garlic parmesan wings and a small size of checker fries. We paid for... the food right away. However, one of the attendees had us pull around & wait. I believe we waited for at least 30 minutes ormore. We noticed the pretty motorcycle in which a young man & his daughter went to order after we already did. They got theirfood first. ???????? Read more

First time visiting this location but really wanted to try their new Fry Seasoned Chicken Tenders. So yummy! They were crispy... but not too crunchy and very yummy. Love their fries so figured I'd love these, and I was right. Employees were friendly as welland service speed was wonderful! Read more
