The customer service is one of the BEST in Lakeworth! The restaurant is old, but they do a good job of keeping it sanitized. I... do think they should consider renovation. My food was hot and fresh, and my only complaint was that my grits were a little toosoupy for my liking. I also didn?t care for the orange juice, but that?s just my personal preference. I honestly enjoyed myselfand would TOTALLY recommend getting a quick and hot breakfast here. Tip: Do not sit by the far backside to the left when youwalk in. It was so cold, I literally had to gobble my food down so it would stay warm when I ate it, otherwise it probablywould?ve had ice on it. I was driving from place to place trying to get a friend's truck fixed. After gettin' that done, I needed something to eat... quickly but FRESH, straight off the grill, made in front of me. And there was Waffle house to the rescue. Friendly staff,greeting me with big smiles. I was shocked and happy to see how fast I got served. I had the TEXAS bacon, egg, and cheesemelt. Food was DELICIOUS. This Waffle House is directly across the street from Albertsons grocery store in the Lake WorthCenter, and not far from Discount Tire, The Texas Movie Bistro, and The Home Depot. Also, there is plenty of parkingwith easy access in and out. I have visited this location more than three times and have been very satisfied with the food& service. When I walked in the place was packed. And all of the tables were dirty so a waitress told me I could sit anywhere that was... clean. The two young ladies who came in after me were seated before me because I'm a gentleman and allowed them to sit down thefirst clean table. I waited for the waitress to clean off another table so I could sit down and then she informed me that shedidn't want me to sit at that table she would rather have the family who came in behind me said at that table because I was onlyone person. Well she doesn't know is I usually tip more than an entire family. But I only do that for good service. That's whyyou got a one-star review. Read more
