Food was not good. Every place thinks they can sell good tacos. This place sells tacos. Good ones? No. Bought beef and chicken... tacos. Meat and chicken was dry and cold. I wanted to like this place. I gave this place a shot twice. I was thoroughlydisappointed twice. "Bendicion"? More like "maldicion". I would have been better off going to Taco Bell. Only good thing thereis their drinks. 2 stars and that's being generous. Read more
We stumbled on this little gem as it was in walking distance of our Airbnb and seemed to have good rating from locals. It is a... great little simple and authentic Guatemalan cafe/ restaurant serving simple and tasty home-style cooking at adorable prices andgood sized portions. We enjoyed our meal of chicken tacos (these were slightly plain) and the beef baleada (which was verytasty)! The service was very friendly - in Spanish. Read more
Stubbled onto this little place when I was in the neighborhood visiting a client. Not much if any English from staff, but the... food was tasty and a good value. Read more
So on a trip from Miami I stopped here to grab something for breakfast. I ordered a ham, cheese, and egg sandwich and they... didn't make it the way I asked. I also ordered a buttered piece of bread untoasted and when I got it, it was toasted and I hadbeen charged $4 for it...... Which I think was ridiculous. Definitely wasn't the language barrier because I am bilingual. Butthe icing on the cake for me was when a man came to drop off raw chicken in bags from the back of his pick up truck and as hewalked across the restaurant by the counter he dripped liquid from the bags across the floor. Then I watched him deliver a fewmore bags and people were walking through the liquid from the plastic bags that had raw chicken in them..... And no one cleanedit up!!!!!! SMH I did not even eat my food after that! Read more

Alright this place was a gold mine a couple years ago but a couple of locals got smart and started frequenting the place a lot... more and of course supplying demand were a hit they've raised prices in the last couple of years but that's understandable withthe way the economy is right now in the price of food but I hope they don't keep going up cause they're gonna lose their loyalfan base and the food quality does suffer when you have that much demand the food used to be excellent now it's OK it's goodenough to continue to go there of course They make a great central American food if you've never tried a central American foodif you've never tried a central American dish before this is where I would try my 1st one there are predominantly Guatemala fromwhat I understand. I go here for my morning coffee and my baleada... this is mostly a worker Restaurant and family..a lot ofworkers and families will frequent this location early in the morning so if that's not your cup of tea don't go, The staff onlyspeak Spanish I think a couple of them do speak English but the menu is very easy to understand Read more
