I ordered a Lake Quirky Club for take out during lunch today. Had it toasted at the owner's recommendation. Really an excellent... sandwich! High quality ingredients. Also, it's an extremely hearty sub...as I sit here at the office with my eyes gettingheavy, I'm starting to think I should've gotten the smaller portion! Just visited for the first time today towards closing time, and was serviced by Danny. I had many questions about the food and... he was very informative. I asked for ?a spicy Pastrami sandwich and I don?t care what you put on it.? Turns out it ended upbeing the best sub I have ever had. I am a harsh food critic, but this establishment seemed to have all the correctingredients, flavors and textures to satisfy me, especially with the bread ratio/softness. First time buying a sub there, so I didn't know what to expect. So I tried their HOT MESS "8" sub. It was really good. They... don't have a price on their menu's. but it's about $8-9 for 8 inch sub. And $12-13 for the 12 inch. I would recommend it. and Iwould definitely go again. I personally like family own restaurant than Franchise. Read more

Finally had a chance to grab a sub for lunch from L-Dub Subs and it did not disappoint. The owners are lovely people and the... quality of the sandwich toppings are superb. I had the Italian Stallion, stuffed with meat, cheese and fixings. The cherrypeppers were literally the cherry on top. Will def stop by the next time I'm visiting a client in the area. I will say that this sub was full of flavors, very fresh cold cuts, and bread was everything. I went with The hot mess, and a... broccoli and cheese soup of the day. Great little sub shop located on a side street down Lake Ave. Their simplistic approach to menu options and sourcing of great... quality ingredients makes for a unique experience not soon forgotten. I tried "The Big Easy" sandwich, which was a perfectlybalanced portion of impeccably toasted, fresh, locally baked hogie roll from Delray's Old Skool Bakery, and salty savory Italiancold cuts with olive dressing. The Hillbilly Raspberry Iced Tea, sourced from a semi-local company out of Plantation was notoverly sweet, had the nice zing of raspberry flavor, and sported a short ingredients of tea, water, and sugar. Exactly what youwant in your drink: only words you can pronounce! The service was very friendly, and it's evident the owners are passionateabout their business and about serving great food. The only drawback is extremely limited seating of one outdoor table, anindoor table, and a window facing high top seating for maybe 3-4 persons max. I definitely want to try them again and wouldrecommend that sandwich. FYI, they have a points club which you can collect and redeem for discounts, which is a plus. Read more
