UPDATE: I haven't been to Carvel in long time. It is still THE BEST soft serve ever! Stay away from this place. The girl behind the counter with dark hair and glasses treated us terribly and the owner with white... hair is absolutely horrible. My daughter was crying because she accidentally told my husband she wanted chocolate swirl but shedid'nt know that meant half vanilla. The girl seemed nice when she said dont cry I can "switch it out for you" so I threw hercone away and then when I went to pay she charged me for two. She had acted like she was switching it out no charge! But no shesaid well she already ate some and its your husbands fault not mine...well she shouldnt have worded it that way! She tricked meinstead of saying up front I can make you a new one but I'd have to charge you. She was so fake. When the owner came over Ithought he was going to say dont worry about it but then he was so rude and made a weird gesture sticking his tongue out sayingwell we cant take it back when she put her tongue on it. Well then the girl should have said that before she made a new cone formy daughter that she would have to charge me for two instead of acring like she was "switching it out" her exact words. When Itried to explain this to the owner how the girl misled me he could care less. He was insisting that I had to pay even after Isaid look she's a little kid. She said swirl by mistake she didnt know what that meant and your employee shouldnt have said I'llswitch it. This was the worst customer service I've ever seen. These people don't care about their customers at all. He made mydaughter feel so bad its really sad that he cares more about $3 than keeping customers. And now that I've read so many otherreviews about how terrible he's treated others, I wanted to make sure everyone knows how mean this guy is. My mom and I got my brother a cake for his 7th birthday.And when we got the cake it wasn?t even what we asked for.We said white... borders.The man that did it had attitude when we placed our order.And he told us he could do a simple drawing.I want to votezero stars but google won?t let me.Never going here until that man is fired.He has white hair and blue eyes.
