Excellent bagels, but they put away their supplies and lock the doors twenty minutes before their close time and walk out ten... minutes before. I was just going to grab some cream cheese that they were too busy to grab for me yesterday (lady was runningaround like crazy and people were queueing everywhere). EDIT: Actually, they close at 2:30p but the deli-side door has no hoursand the hours online say 3p. Same review for turning customers away because they can't manage their hours correctly. Read more
My husband and I love to pick up a couple of bagel sandwiches here on the weekends. They are so good! Worlds better than what... you get at some of the franchise breakfast places. Some of the other reviews mentioned trouble with the service/employees buthonestly, I?ve only ever observed customers being completely over the top while the staff did their level best to remainprofessional. That being said, their coffee does leave something to be desired, but what can you expect - they?re called Bagels&, not Coffee &! I definitely recommend a stop. Read more
The bagels, salads, cream cheese flavors, nova, whitefish, and baked goods are always flavorful, made well, delicious, and... fresh. They even sell fruit rolls from I was a kid that really bring so much sentimental value to our stops in as a family. Wehighly recommend this place for takeout or eat-in... the staff is friendly and the prices are reasonable for the area andinflation. Just remember this is a cash only restaurant so come prepared to pay that way and enjoy a delicious meal eitherthere, on a picnic, or at home!!! Read more
1 of 2 locations in this area. Enjoy this location better due to the fact that the staff is much kinder and more accommodating.... I asked for rose every time I go there as she always makes sure that everything is perfect.. Last time I was there I purchased adozen bagels and they give you a Baker's dozen . Read more
This is my second Monday morning visit here. On Monday morning, they aren't crowded at all. Service is good. Prices are very... reasonable, especially their breakfast specials that are available until 10:30. As someone who drinks A LOT of coffee, Iappreciate that they leave a thermal carafe of coffee so I don't have to keep flagging down a server for more. If you're goingto order potatoes, I recommend the hash browns; the home fries are just a greasy mess. Read more
The food was very good, but I was very turned off by a couple service issues. As such, not sure I'd return. Had the everything... bagel with lox and cream cheese which was very fresh and flavorful. The salmon was notably good. We also shared the Cinnamonnut French toast. It was prepared well, but seemed to be missing something. The Cinnamon was not a very prevalent flavor and thefreshness of fruit would have helped. Not a bad French toast, but I have had more interesting preparations. We also enjoyed somecheese blintz which i liked, but have never had before so I'm probably not the best critic. Was not the biggest fan of themuffins they used as kind of a throw away item on each plate. A few of the bothersome service issues: 1. My friend had to sendback a coffee mug and wipe off the replacement because it was dirty. 2. The pineapple cheese blintz which we would havepreferred to try was not available 3. We attempted to use a coupon and were told they are not accepting coupons for theremainder of the year so we had to pay full price. This is easily the best place for breakfast or lunch. Prices are extremely reasonable and the food is excellent. When we are... seated someone comes over and asks us if we want coffee and left a pot of coffee not just filling our cups. While we werewaiting in line I just happened to mention to the owner Nancy that it was my birthday today and at the end of the meal the staffbrought a cookie with a candle in it and they sang Happy Birthday. I was really surprised. I highly recommend this restaurantI'm sure during the holiday season it will be very busy and you may have to wait but it's worth it. If you arrive before 10:30they have morning specials. I had the scrambled eggs with potatoes and my wife had two scrambled eggs with oatmeal. Both mealscome with coffee and a small muffin and a bagel or bread and the whole meal was only $4.95 each. Very good value. Service wasexcellent. Brings back a little bit of home for me. We come from a bit of a ways on the other coast and we always stop here when we visit... relatives. The food is great, service terrific, but it is the bagels and bialys that make this place worth going out of your wayfor. Make a trip here - you won't be disappointed! Read more
