Excellent staff service & egg sandwiches! Leaving review for the amazing super women running the entire show at lake placid... stewarts shop on main? This amazing girl ran the whole shop : cashier, cook, stock, etc. needed early breakfast before hittingthe trails. Very few choices before 7- 8am. Stewarts one of them. Wasn?t expecting much. Some pre made egg sandwiches but allwith meat. When we asked if any available without lovely girl - only staff - offered to make anything requested on the spot. She somehow made 2 amazing bagel egg & cheese bagels while servicing cash register, etc with a professional attitude. Statedsimply - ?I?ll be right with you? to the patient locals waiting to Pay for their items. When I walked in I thought it was quite a nice little gas station till it came to check out. The older woman working behind the... counter was not only rude, but didn't take the time of day to answer any of my questions. Being from Iowa and coming to NY toonly have the worst customer service ever. Wouldn't recommend. Read more
Great Stewart?s location it?s very clean the employees are very friendly they also have great vanilla ice cream and the vibe is... good they also have indoor and outdoor seating available most convenience stores don?t have seating areas so that?s also a plusthe prices are normal Read more
If I could, would give 0 stars. Google shows closes at 12 AM, but yet was told it closes in 1 minute..this is at 1059 PM. I... highly recommend updating your hours as this area is probably big when it comes to tourists. Im one....and depend on Google forbusiness hours. Walked out at exactly 11 PM and the guy locked the doors as quick as possible and tried to come up with a bunchof excuses why it wasn?t updated on Google. Definitely impolite and would definitely recommend going somewhere else, and maybesomewhere with an actual fountain drink station... Wont go back. Read more
Non ethanol gas! As a down state resident, it's impossible to get non ethanol gas. Our car never ran better!
Can understand their ID policy however I do not drink and after they wouldn?t sell beer to my friend because I (who doesn?t... drink) didn?t have ID because well I wasnt buying anything with him but entirely separately my own items. YET THEY SOLD ALCOHOLto a VISIBLY DRUNK man which is illegal yet wouldn?t to my friend who is not white. This is very weird and they seem to tailorthe law to themselves as they see fit. Read more
