Little charming Italian restaurant with potential. I was content with the service and was content with the mediocre food until... I did make aware that my cocktail was terrible and undrinkable. Waiter didn't acknowledge, so here is the real review. Meatballswere grainy and dry...recommend a better mix of meats to bring out more flavor or maybe more breadcrumbs. The bolognese was abit salty and the pasta was a touch undercook so a bit gummy. The maple thyme whiskey sour was not anything you would expect asour would be. It had no creaminess or any sweet/sour flavor profile. No trace of the maple and the whiskey seemed cheap andwould get a better drink at a college bar. Read more
My wife and I stayed in Lake Placid for 7 nights and ate dinner here four times. It is now one of our all-time favorite... restaurants. The food and service were both excellent. We want to give special recognition to Heather who took care of ustwice. She was extremely efficient, pleasant and responsive. While everything we had was great, probably our favorite dish wasthe Sweet Thai Chile Shrimp, followed closely by the meatball pizza. Also outstanding were the caesar salad and the salmon. Theambiance is very comfortable as well. We dined outdoors, and even though the restaurant is in a small shopping center it is inthe corner and the plantings give it a private feel. Read more
Ok...so. If you look at the picture, tell me what's wrong. First off...let me start with the atmosphere. Cozy little place. Nice... ambiance. We ordered the Sicilian Meatballs. Was told they were the best app. If this is true then.....why do the meatballstaste like they were frozen? They were tasteless and hard. They sauce was good but thats it. Then the main. Course. CavatelliBolenase. Pasta was under cooked. Wasn't drained enough. Watery sauce. To top it off they put a handful of baby arugula as agarnish. The meal was underwhelming. I've had cans of Chef Boyardee that had more flavor. I'm an Fat Italian guy. I should knowabout food. This wasn't it. The food here was great specially the appetizer. This would be few of restaurants I would recommend here at Lake Placid. The... environment was cozy and service was pleasant. They have grocery store next to the restaurant if you were here on the first dayand needed to do grocery shopping. Would recommend for anyone to try it. Read more

This is a place you go to and want everything on the menu. The salads they offer are freshand tasty, the seafood and meat are always cooked perfectly, and the Italian dishes are unique and flavorful. There?s a curatedwine selection, and there?s always a new fun cocktail to try. The owners and staff are friendly, accommodating, and engaged.
