Before I say anything else, I\'d like to say the people that work here are super friendly, they go the extra mile, and I... genuinely have enjoyed every interaction I\'ve had with them. The people are wonderful. But the food isn\'t that great. Theirpizzas are definitely better than a chain, but they\'re over priced. The food is inconsistent. The serving sizes vary dependingon who\'s dishing it out. Sometimes the food is hot, but more often it is cold. I once received pasta that was so cold it wascongealed together. I had to cook it at home to eat it. We ordered 1 sandwich and 1 pasta, and paid almost 50$ for that meal.Terribly over priced. The food is quite bland most of the time.Tonight was the last straw when I found a long piece of plasticin my pasta. I hate giving a review like this because the people there are wonderful, but our food has been so disappointingso many times, I felt I had to say something. Read more

I fear we may have lost another restaurant opportunity. We have tried the place numerous times and will keep trying to support a... badly needed local business. We were there in the beginning when times were tough, and things weren\'t always right. We leftsuggestions and some were taken while some were not. Consistency is key in an establishment of this kind. They are trying stillbut we see customers have lost their patience. Tonight, we came in to try a pizza. At 14\" and $20+ for a pie, it had better bepretty good. It was OK. Lot\'s of sauce and toppings were OK as well. They still have no beer but they advised us to walk acrossthe street to a convenience store and bring it back, which we did. They even offered to keep it in the cooler for us to keep itcold, couldn\'t have been nicer. we were even offered red Solo cups to pour it into, but when they came over all wet inside, wewere suspicious as to it being the first use of these cups, so we said no. We ate some pie and walked home with the rest.Finished our beers in a leisurely fashion. Not one other person cam in the entire two hours we were there. See picture. Verysad. No one can keep the lights on with that kind of revenue. I just hope that everyone will give the, another try as they aregetting it together. Hopefully someday they WILL be a full service restaurant and Italian Market as promised to Placid Lakesarea. #LPStevenreviews #stevensleavin Read more

This place has authentic homemade pasta made by an authentic Italian grandma and her daughter. We were lucky enough to meet the... owner and her mother and they were just the nicest, most welcoming family.\nIf you are expecting Olive Garden food then this isa little different. This is authentic Italian food. Homemade pasta made in the back by hand with an old school pastamachine.\nThe homemade pasta was delicious and the pesto sauce was homemade and wonderful!\nSpread the word to your friends andtry it out!!\nI saw a review down below about no carrots in their bolognese sauce, bolognese is a meat sauce, my family is fromItaly and the carrots and onions are like a base to give flavor, not actual huge chunks of veggies in the pasta.\nLeone?s thankyou for being so welcoming and kind, we had such a wonderful experience from the hospitality to the food! Tender bread crust, soft and warm. Yummy cheese and toppings. Definitely in house made sauce. So Ragu like but definitely not... from a can! Parmesan on request. Desserts include cheesecake, brownies, and tiramasu. Read more
