We were disappointed in our meal at H. Toad. There were crumbs in the wrapped napkin my girlfriend had, the chicken tenders were... plain and overcooked, and the firecracker shrimp only had sauce to dip them in vs. being drizzled on them (5 shrimp for 15bucks). The drinks were decent. We got a "smoked" old fashion ( didn't taste like it ) and a skinny dip. Read more
We were there for breakfast for my husband's military reunion. Was impressed with the chef/asst. chef for taking a few minutes... out of their morning to decorate our table for our veterans. Really meant alot to them. Read more

Delicious food & friendly staff! We went and ate here more than once while staying at the resort connected to the restaurant.
The hotel is out of the world,I never stayed at nicer place the view from our room outstanding,the people that work here #1. We... stayed here for a Christmas party,I would came back it I could afford it , definitely a once in a lifetime for use never forgetit. Read more
Great food and service. Excellent spinach artichoke dip. Cheeseburgers are great. Meatloaf has great onion straws on top and... great sauce/gravy. Wonderful mashed potatoes. Loved the ceaser salad. Nice views from the resort, I believe we were on the 3rd level. Food wasn?t the best but better than resorts around. My nachos... tasted fine but were served kinda cold. The shrimp and grits were cooked well but not worth the $$ because it was too saltyoverall. But the views were spectacular. Another reason for 5 stars is the staff, they were very attentive and efficient. Wewere greeted and seated in a timely manner, we even got our food pretty fast considering we went on a busy Saturday night. Goodmusic as well. Read more
We had our wedding at H. Toads/Camden on the Lake and everything was perfect. The service was impeccable from the wait staff to... the hotel staff. We were able to check in early so we could get ready for the rehearsal dinner, also hosted at Toads. The foodwas amazing. The hotel suites were perfect for the wedding party to get ready in and the beds were so comfy. Probably thebiggest and best piece of the deal was the event coordinator Mallorie. She was so detail oriented and helped us so much, she isamazing. I would recommend this to anyone interested in getting married here, we wouldn?t change a thing. Read more
