Took my company here this past week. I have always gotten great food. But this visit was below par. Our shrimp buckets were way... over cooked and very greasy. Potatoe wedges were burnt and also bad. The trip down there was NOT worth any of us wanting to go back. The drive was out of the way for the establishment that is... there. We understand Food prices are outrageous right now. But the whole setup of the Food area was terrible. And we paid WAYMORE for the quality and amount. We will not be going back or suggesting this place for anyone to eat or drink. 4 adults and a kid waited for 1 hour and 15 minutes to get 1/2 our order. Then waited another 15 minutes for the other half.... Customers were getting pretty unhappy. After waiting over an hour for our food and seeing other tables seated after us getting their food first, we requested and... received a refund on our order. I understand the wait time due to shortage of staff, but will not except the excuse some tablesgetting served first based on what they ordered as stated by the management. It is not difficult to fry up breaded shrimp andfries. What orders are quicker to make then this that constitutes someone getting their order first. Must have been because theywere young girls in bathing suits. Prior to this sat at outside bar to get a drink only for bartender to come out 10 minuteslater to put a bar closed sign on bar. Went into the restaurant when it was dead on a Monday? Ordered at 1:38pm. after about an hour later of waiting, went up to the... counter to ask what was taking so long with our food. The kid back there said it?d be about six more minutes as I heard himthrow our fries in the fryer and the burgers on the grill. Pretty sure the kid behind the counter forgot our order, even thoughonly two orders were placed in the hour we waited. The people that ordered right behind us waited an hour too. The kid took twoorders and then sat around for an hour until we asked what?s taken so long. Good atmosphere though. When the food came out anhour and ten minutes later it was great. The past 2 years, we?ve made it a tradition to come here on our last night before going home. This year the quality,... cleanliness and tastiness was far better than last year. It appears the place has been really cared for. The service wasgreat, the Crab races for the kids were well done and food was tasty. There was a ?bus boy? working his tail off and so polite,I didn?t catch his name but it warmed my heart to witness a hard working staff member like him! Read more
The view was the best part and the drinks were good but the overall experience was just okay. We waited well over an hour for... our food and we had to ask multiple times for what we paid for before we received it all and the food was not a hit.
