I?m a big fan of Dickeys bbq.. there isn?t one in my hometown so while I was in the area I decided to go here for dinner.... Mistake.. should hand known once I found out there was no fryer ( no onion tanglers?!? ) or soda machine/ ice cream stationthat this wasn?t the spot. Sadly the meat was dry, sides were bland and I didn?t even get the onion slices that typically comewith the meal, small gripe but I ordered an extra roll to make a sandwich, onion goes great with this. I ordered online. When I got there to pickup, the store was closed. It Had been when I ordered online. The order system and the... store have different hours. They still charged me. I have tried calling the online help and can never get a real person to helpme get a refund. What a scam. Read more
We ordered Dickeys BBQ for lunch for a group of family members and spent almost $300. The employee at the establishment was by... herself on a Saturday at lunch time. She was very nice, but over whelmed with orders. When we got the food home, it was not verygood. The brisket was the worst I have ever eaten, the sides were edible, but not very good. The chicken was dry and the choppedbrisket was dry. They sent NO BBQ sauce, which made it even worse. If you want good BBQ, go to Busters, I won't make thatmistake again. I called and asked to talk to the manager, but there was not a manager. they gave me the owners number, I calledand left a message, but have not gotten a response. I can now list this in the 10 worst foods I have ever eaten, verydisappointed. If it was possible, I would have listed it as no stars, but 1 is the lowest you can go. Place needs help with customer service. No greeting just employee waiting. I explained there?s a deal I saw online and they said... I?d have to order it through online. Fair, I looked on their app which says their store doesn?t do online pick up and showedthem which all they responded was ?weird?. The least you could do is honor the discount wouldn?t you think? There was plastic in my food??... besides all that the meat was very dry, even after adding bbq sauce, the "bacon green beans"... were mushy and no bacon. The cole slaw was alright, but who can mess up cole slaw? And the mac and cheese was a run of the millfrozen/from a box side. It turned into a brick. The servings were pretty small for a 3 meat plate. I'd have been surprised ifthere was a pound there, and for almost 30 bucks it wasnt worth it. I bought that plate thinking it could feed 2 people. There's3 different kinda of meat ffs! Next time I'll go to buster's. That place is the best, and like bbq should be, is tender, moistand has generous portions! Read more
I always enjoy going to Dickey?s, but this location isn?t up to standard. I ordered a pulled pork sandwich ($8.25) and chose to... make it a plate for an additional $5.25. The employee rang it up and it came out to $17, which was clearly wrong based on thedigital menu. When I asked the employee she clearly didn?t understand how to use the register. I tried explaining but it wasn?tworth the effort. The man who came in after me also got a sandwich plate and was also charged the incorrect amount?he managed toeventually get the charge fixed. As for the food, it was okay but below standards. The bread was stale and the sweet tea wasn?tas good, which it usually is. The location also didn?t have any CO2 for sodas and there isn?t a fryer installed?no fried okraor french fries. Overall I was quite disappointed with my meal and felt bad for the employee who seemed undertrained and didn?thave access to a fryer or any fountain drinks. 12/26/18: 4.0 out 5 - For all intent and purpose, I am looking at the food and taste through the perspective as being "mall... food". Dickey's Barbeque Pit has been at the Clackamas Town Center ongoing 9 months. In my honest opinion, the food is tastyconsidering it was a little pass 7 PM. It was unfortunate that Dickey's sold out of the ribs and chicken. However, the PulledPork, Brisket, Turkey, and the Jalapeno Cheddar Kielbasa along with the Creamed Spinach, Mac & Cheese, and cornbread filled mewell. As for the service of the staff, I got great, friendly service and it was attentive. They were quick to answer ourquestions. What more can you ask for at the mall food court? I definitely would come back to catch some of the BBQ ribs nexttime. As I always say, try it once and decide for yourself. Enjoy! Read more
4 of us walked in for lunch to an empty store. The digital menu was not working and the one employee didn?t care to offer an... alternative or explain the options to us. We looked at the menu on our phones and walked out to eat next door. Dickeys exhibitedterrible service, on top of the store not being inviting. We will not be returning and do not recommend anyone visit thisrestaurant. Read more
