Good food choices, plenty of it, we had breakfast buffet, complete with turkey bacon. Would love it if they had turkey sausage... too. But great place great, friendly staff who deliver great and personal service. I stayed and ate here many times it wasalways fantastic then too. Love all but the price, I think it went up a bit from before. It's not unreasonable and I would stayhere and eat here again. Delightful place. Visited June 4 for the first time. Waitress seated us outside on the patio with view of lake. I ordered the buttermilk chicken... and Mac and cheese my husband ordered the burger and fries. Really surprised by the plastic cups for drinks. It took over anhour for food to arrive and when it did my chicken was cold and Mac and cheese was ice cold. Waited 15 minutes for waiter till Ihad to approach another waiter to get ours. Fifteen minutes later our waiter came out and took food back to reheat my plate.But didn't offer to get us more drinks. Food came out and the chicken was luck warm and the Mac and cheese was super hot. I love Lake Junaluska. I have been coming here for 5 years and the other day was the first time I ate at the Terrace Restaurant.... I ordered a chicken salad sandwich with fries and a sweet tea. The sandwich was bland and the fries ($2 more) were cool and dry.It is outrageously expensive (to me) to pay $18 dollars for 1 person to not only eat lunch but to eat a sandwich! The host andwait staff were friendly, and I love that you can take your pets out on the balcony. The view is truly stunning. I just wish mymeal would have been worth the money I paid. Read more

First time visiting The Lakeside Bistro. Had the Buttermilk fried chicken ,with Brussel sprouts. Very good. Also had the... Spinach and Artichoke dip. Came out hot with the most awesome chips. Just had a lovely impromptu late lunch at The Bistro. The views are amazing! Our server Javan was attentive and professional so... we felt very well taken care of! I must admit, I grew up in the area and had very little experience with dining at LakeJunaluska but it seems the new owners/management have breathed new life into the place! I had a lovely perfectly dressed saladand a cup of the soup, my mother had the artichoke spinach dip as her meal... oh my!! Absolutely heavenly! We were so full, wehad to order our desserts to go!! I will definitely be back and I highly recommend that if you're in the area to stop in. Thisis a gem of a dining experience with relaxing views of the lake. Read more

The staff were extremely friendly. We were seated at a table by the window with a great view of the lake but then decided to get... it to go so we could watch the snow in our cabin.
