Beware eating here. We had a very bad experience July 16th. This review is for the management HORRIBLE and the food. (Our... waitress was excellent) My friend was visiting from DC and wanted to eat at Red Lobster. My friend ordered the Admiral dinner.He was finished before me. (I eat slowly) I was eating my salad. I didn't even touch my shrimp scampi. He then said "my stomachhurts" Within 15 minutes of eating, HE THREW UP HIS ENTIRE MEAL ALL OVER HIS PLATE!!! He couldn't get up quickly enoughbecause, he walls with a cane. His right side of his body is damaged from having a stroke last year. He was so sick, and soembarrassed. Our waitress grabbed a bucket so he could vomit the rest of his meal. ???????????????? I have never seen anythinglike that in my life! I was scared to eat my dinner, for fear of food poisoning. ???? I immediately went to tell the manager.She was so cold, rude, and so uncaring. I had to ASK for a credit my friends meal. My meal= didn't even get to eat because Iwas scared and now, not hungry from witnessing my friend vomit his entire meal.... the manager still charged me for my meal andthe iced teas as well. I have been a manager for over 20 yrs in the car business. I would have apologized and completelyrefunded both meals and made sure the guest was OK. NOPE...NOT THIS WOMAN. I AM NEVER RETURNING TO Red Lobster in Lake Jackson.I am also contacting the district manager to complain about her unprofessionalism. Read more
Arrived just as restaurant opened at 11am on a Saturday. Our server Jocelyn was everything you could want in a server: attentive... with a smile, knowledgeable of the menu and could answer questions, and our order came out exactly as ordered. Chef grilled thetrout perfectly- not too long/dry, but just enough to ensure the outside had grill marks and the inside still tender anddelicious. A tricky accomplishment for a thin trout filet. The only reason I’m not giving all 5 stars is due to housekeeping-there was a dead bee on windowsill next to us. I’d recommend a quick dusting before opening each day. Customers will notice!In closing, we sure appreciated the small touches, such as cooled bowls for the salad. Remember…It’s the small things thatcan make or break an experience. The food doesn't look like the pictures they advertise and the flounder looks more like a squalid tilapia fillet than anything... else. Also, the macaroni and cheese was extremely dry. Read more
I have been to this location three times in the last two weeks and I've had three different servers; yet my experience has been... exactly the same each time. All the servers are extremely friendly and do a stellar job of making each visit just as awesome asthe last one. The positive atmosphere at this location has made it my favorite restaurant in Lake Jackson. The food is preparedexactly as you ask for it and to a really high standard. The Langostino lobster-Artichoke-and-seafood dip and the Calamari arefantastic starters. The Ultimate Feast is really good, but I've become a fanatic of the "Lobster Lovers Dream". Every item ismade to absolute perfection. The restaurant itself is very clean and the temperature is just right for whatever the weather isoutside. They thoroughly clean the tables after each patron leaves. The men's room and parking lot are also very clean and tidy.The staff takes really good care of this location. I HIGHLY recommend this Red Lobster!! If you want a great meal whilesurrounded by awesome staff in a comfortable and classy restaurant; then stop in to this Red Lobster in Lake Jackson. A++service!! Empty restaurant for a reason!! My shrimp was chewy and raw at the same time??? Middle of shrimp was chewy and rubbery out side... was raw and fishy!! How did they so that??? The water and ice cubes taste like well water with a odd taste!! My baked potato wasstill hard!! Just plain lousy food!! Felt horrible for the waiters!! They are great, but in a lousy place!!! Haven't eaten at a Red Lobster in a few years. We decided to go to the Lake Jackson, TX one and have dinner. Service was great... and the food came out fast. The food was good and plenty for the serving. Would highly recommend this location. Read more
I've eaten here many times and have never had a bad experience. The food is good, the staff are friendly, and the prices are... reasonable. Many of the staff have been there for years and recognize you and even remember particular items you have ordered.If you're in the Lake Jackson area and want seafood, I'd definitely recommend coming here. The waiter Dakota is the absolute best. He is on it with recommendations. He was there with everything without us having to ask.... Another server Cassandra made my daughter's bday extra special. Food was good. Can't say enough good things about the waitstaff. Read more
