We've done take-out a few times from this restaurant and loved it each time. The food tastes clean, not oily or too spicy, but... very flavorful. Reminds me of dhaba style and sometimes even homemade. Looking forward to trying more dishes from them! Read more
By and far the best Indian food that I have had in the Northern NJ area and I have tried quite a few places. Their Naan is... absolutely delicious, as are many of their entrees and appetizers. This restaurant seems to be run by a close knit family, and it shows in the good quality and deliciousness of the food. The front host is also very nice and pleasant. All in all Ihighly recommend Apna Swad if you are in Northern NJ and in the mood for Indian, they will not disappoint! Read more
I don't eat Indian food often, but I figured I would give this place a try since it is nearby. Ordered the non-veg meal for two... and loved every bit of it. Tasted fresh and the tandoori chicken was fantastic. Going again for sure. Read more
Excellent. Best Indian we've had in the Parsippany area so far. Dhansak is pictured along with samosa, naan, and papadum. My... first indication that it would be great was the tomato and onion topping for the papadum (because we didn't order them!).Dhansak was a new dish for me and tasty. We always try tikka masala as a rule to check quality at new places. It wasexcellent. Noticably fresh ingredients and not a hint of the grease that sometimes happens with take away. I'll update afterour next order to check for consistency. Fresh cooking on Saturday is great, hopefully it keeps up during the weeks to come andApna Swad can be our always Indian takeaway. Read more
Tried them for the first time, and we LOVED it!! We got the non-veg food for two, substituted the chicken tikka masala for... chicken vindaloo. Everything was delicious! Great value too: 3 main dishes and an appetizer, plus naan, poppadum, rice and raitafor under $35. It was a great experience overall, from placing the order to picking it up. Owners courteous, recommend 100% Wetasted the food before we took the picture :) Read more
