My family and I visited here over the July 4th holiday weekend. We got there right when it opened, so it wasn?t crowded at all.... We sat outside with an amazing view! The waiters were both really accommodating and so sweet to our little one! And of course,the wine and food were soooo good. We ordered a couple of flights, the lobster roll, and crab cakes. Really enjoyed this quaint and comfortable winery. There was a vast selection of wines, beers and specialty drinks in every... price range. Had to go with a flight to tastes a few. Next I added a cheese board and enjoyed all four (sorry I can't tell youtheir fancy names). The food menu was good as well and I honed in on some favorites, crab cakes and salmon, well "ora kingsalmon" which proved to be a good choice. Enjoyed a second meal from the leftovers. Barrique is now my favorite place to go in Lake Geneva. This is a place fit for foodies. During our visit yesterday, they had... a "Dip Flight" with a guacamole, salsa, and bean dip. The wine flight is always a great choice given their great wine menu. Wealso got the smoked salmon avocado toast. Its as good as it looks in the picture. During the colder months, they even have a"Soup Flight". When its not summertime crazy busy, this is a great place to come to, have some glasses of wine, and just spenda comfy afternoon trying different small plates. This place was hopping! The positives: respectable craft beer selection, food was quite good and had above average presentation,... atmosphere is fresh and views of lake are excellent. The negatives: they are a bit understaffed, the restaurant feels small,they have three different menus and the only one that is correct is the one you access from scanning the QR code on the table. We enjoyed an absolutely delicious lunch today at the Barrique Bistro & Wine Bar. It was a picture perfect day to sit outside... and enjoy a fabulous meal, catered by a kindhearted, cheerful and attentive server. Every entree was outstanding - particularlythe crab cakes and the poke bowl. This was our first time here - but it definitely won?t be our last! Highly recommended! Read more
Very quaint and cute! Extensive wine, beer, and alcohol list. The flights are definitely worth the price and the way to go! Our... charcuterie board was good, with an option to add gluten free crackers. The space is definitely more intimate, so expect a waittime if you're going during high volume. Read more
