Have been here twice now when visiting my friends on the north end, and has been great both times. The bbq is as good as it... gets. The folks at the counter are super friendly. 3 different BBQ sauces at the table is perfect for getting as messy or notwith your sandwich. This time I had the seasonal veggies as a side which was an incredible pan fried zucchini with pesto andparmesean. Went amazing with my sliced brisket sandwich, which came with a generous portion of delicious, juicy brisket on afantastic, buttery soft bun. So good! Read more

First of all, the chili is the best I?ve ever had. No beans. Layers and layers of flavor. I?d come here just for the chili. They... give good portion size of meat on the sandwich. Unfortunately the brisket was disappointing. It tasted too dry. Will not orderagain. Dining room has a bit lake view. You may also eat on the porch. But it was too cold (and wet) for us. A nice place to eat after biking along the Burke Gilman trail. It?s a super steep hike on an uphill road when exiting from the... trail up to where the restaurant is, but the views and food was worth it :). Staff was friendly, it was self service, and theoutdoor seating was spacious and pleasant. From the outside you would not have suspected that this place would?ve had such acute patio area. Read more

How do you know a BBQ place is great ? It's when you visit a different BBQ place and compare it to that. In my case this is... Briley's, it's the place I use as my baseline reference for competently prepared BBQ. It's the place that pops into my mind whenI crave BBQ. The smell of the area becomes ingrained in your memory once you visited. Yes, I personally think they are thatgood. Get takeout or just fine in their spacious dining area with a TV and another outdoor seating area. If you prefer takeoutthey will bring the food out to your car once it's done. I love their ribs, my favorite sides are hush puppies, collard greensand the chili. Give it a try if you're in the area it might become your go-to BBQ as it has become my family's. Read more

Went with the pulled pork sandwich and it was fantastic. Food was out within 5 minutes and hot. Three different kinds of bbq... sauces to choose from as well. Would highly recommend coming here for some good barbecue food. Read more

I recommend the sloppy pork burger it was juicy and delicious. The fried were great and the Mac and cheese was good, although I... feel like it can have more flavor. I liked how they had sauces on the table so you can add whatever and how much you?d like. Thebrisket wasn?t as soft as I?d like it though, so I wouldn?t come here for seconds! Delicious! I had the iron horse sandwich and the sausage was flavorful and juicy! Mustard was super delicious too. We also had... the bbq plate with some of the best brisket I've ever had and chicken wings. Table was split over the Mac - I thought it was tooclunky but others thought it was perfect, so I'm keeping the five stars. I am rib lover and used to live in Kansas where many good rib places are available. since I move to Seattle, I visited about 10... rib places in Seattle area before here.
