OMG! The Persian food I remember, excellent flavor, simply delicious beyond description. Came with my foodie nephew to have... the Persian Mediterranean food we've been looking for. I called Mike, the former owner of another restaurant, I hadn't seen himand wasn't aware he had a new place. Anyways we made the trip from Bellflower, 33 miles to try his food, said it was the sameconcept as Peris that he previously owned. Everything amazing, we had a family meal that we went to have 2 more meals at home.Chicken kabobs, beef and chicken kobideh, grilled veggies, all excellent the bread I have to say was the best, freshly made,little crispy, with hummus or butter, so delicious we almost filled up it, we ate 2 1/2 of them. What Can say about this place. Mr. Mehrdad (Mike) is such a wonderful, humble and hospitable person. The food quality and... quantity is perfect enough. The food here is very scrumptious ????. I have ordered a lot of food. The whole roasted chicken wasamazing and in perfection. The chicken thigh kabab is delicious. I can't introduce the Kobidah Kabab, you better go and try ityourselves , I'll simply say it was amazing. The Naan was tasty and the black tea took me back to the huge Persia countrythrough silk road in Afghanistan. Read more
KABAB EXPRESS! I like to find food that makes me dance and this place does it! The food has solid seasoned flavor and the plate... will leave you full. I met Mike who was very warm and welcoming. I was looking for an Asian restaurant but run into this little gem, right off the bat I got some fresh shawerma bread with... garlic butter( no dairy on it. Just garlic, lemon& olive oil) delicious!!!Complimentary in the house, I ordered the # 38, darkmeat with rice, juicy chicken perfect seasoned with the The classic Iranian touch, grilled vegetables and saffron rice. Comehungry because other wise you won?t finished your portion. Like several others here, I stopped in on a whim and was very pleasantly surprised! Very good food, especially the pita, which... reminded me of a gigantic naan--absolutely delicious, and a great variety of textures all in one piece! The service was reallyremarkable, though. I wish I'd gotten the name of the man I spoke to because he obviously cares a great deal about hisrestaurant and serving you excellent food. I will absolutely be back here when I'm in the area next. Best Persian food we have had in the past few years. The hot freshly baked bread with yogurt cucumber dip was mouth watering as... an starter. Order arrived really fast. Kabob was perfectly made. It was tender and juicy with high quality Persian spices. Dishportion was huge.The owner is a very polite and welcoming gentleman. Soft drinks and freshly baked appetizer were on the housesince it was our first time. We will definitely go back there and will bring our parents.
