Absolutely an amazing 1st time experience! Food was more than perfect. Drinks amazing. Service is top notch! Scenery is... beautiful. You HAVE to get there at least an hour before they open to sign in and reserve a spot because they have noreservations? it?s first come first serve and you could be waiting 4+ hours. I?d come back just for the setting. It?s magical. The drinks were wonderful like they were advertising and not badly priced. The... service was good but they were kinda pushing us out since we were one of the last to be seated. Food was alright. I got a steakand it wasn?t the best I had. Simply amazing experience at Ishnala. Have wanted to go here for years and finally just did it. Beautiful scenery as you wait... for a table that was spot on at check-in. 1.5 hour wait but drinks were delicious. Food second to none. Steaks were best we haveever ate and staff so accommodating and friendly. Definitely a special treat that should be a must for everyone. So enjoyable! Read more
My wife and I took a mini honeymoon after getting married and got a gift card for Ishnala. We are more like Applebees fancy not... supper club fancy but decided to give it a try. The scenery is fantastic! The view of the lake is amazing and it?s really nicethat they have abundant outdoor seating for waiting. We had a 45 min wait but it flew by after getting drinks and cheese curdsat the bar. The wait staff was great! Attentive and considerate. The food itself was absolutely incredible! There was evenplenty for leftovers! On the way out, the hostess wished me a good night by name too which just shows their attention to detail!It is pricey but well worth it for a special date night. An Amazing view with the best Old Fashions I've ever had. The food was prepared to perfection , and was delicious. Definitely... worth the wait and the money my new favorite restaurant in the dells area me and my fiance plan on coming back at least once amonth from now on. We love to try places that promise excellent food. It's even better when service is as good as well. Ishnala Supper Club... delivers both. As a appetizers, I ordered prime rib wrapped asparagus. It was enough for a meal and delicious. This is acreative dish that I've not ever seen elsewhere. Hubs had escargot which he thoroughly enjoyed. We ordered Chicken Oscar andPrime Rib with Prawns. Each dish was perfectly cooked, elegantly plated with plenty of leftovers for the next day. We finishedour meal with homemade chocolate mousse, key lime pie, and a Golden Cadillac. We then took an informal tour of the supper club.The don't take reservations, but have three bars all with amazing views and a beach where diners can wait. I truly felt like Icould sit there and stare at the lake for hours while enjoying great conversations with a cocktail or soda. It is very easy to see why Ishnala is Wisconsin?s favorite supper club. My party arrived about 15 minutes before the posted... opening to get our name on the list. They do not take reservations, and they do not have a dress code. We were dressed in nicercamping gear for our visit. There was time to go down by the water and relax beforehand. Although we had to wait about an hourto be seated, we never had to wait very long to be served for anything. At the bar we were served right away despite being full.And at our table the wait staff was prompt and courteous. It couldn?t have taken more than 20 minutes to be served our mealsafter ordering. Cheese and crackers, rolls, and cinnamon rolls were served at the table. We did have to close out our tab atthe bar before being seated, as our table was not near the bar we visited. I also picked up some things to take home before weleft. The atmosphere was great. The lighting was natural and as the night came there was an intimate feel in the restaurant.There were incredible views to be had throughout the building. Read more
