I?ve heard this place was picked by Gordon Ramsey or somebody for a ?makeover? when it was called Fish Bones several years... ago????????guess that meant improvements! Gather at Phish Tales of an evening and you?ll see those you know (that?s if you?re aLake Cityite)and, If you so choose, there?s also a full bar as well as Kitchen, so you can have a drink and a decent meal too.Located in the old Winn Dixie plaza - uh oh, showing my age as WD was there several decades ago! - it?s not far from downtownoff of SW Main St. Bottom line: there aren?t a lot of good local restaurants in LC, but this one I recommend. So glad to see Phish Tales make it thru the pandemic. Food is always fresh and delicious. They always have a great selection of... spirits and tonight was no exception our Great server Lacey pulled me a great local cream ale from Halpatters ?support yourlocals?! Shrimp, 1 lb, hot with old Bay seasoning with butter and cocktail sauce..was superb. So fresh and tasty. Fried fish basket was... good. Blackened shrimp tacos with slaw and pico were delicious. The shrimp on the bloody Mary was mealy and old. Waitress wasawesome. Read more

Had the sesame tuna and im ready to make the 3 hour drive once a month for this dish. Also had a bite of the sirloin and it was... phenomenal. Not sure how they cook it to be as tender as a filet. Highly recommended! Read more
