Excellent food, I had the daily special and the flavors were exceptional. My partner had the roast pork, and I was happy that... her portion was more than she could finish because I got to have some the next day, and it was still so delicious. (My portionwas generous, too, but it was too good not to finish!) They are not open for dinner, only breakfast and lunch, but it isexcellent food, and you can deal with the crowd of smart Lake City diners! Read more

Maggie took our orders and delivered our food, an incredible lady with a kindness and spark. The food was drool worthy! I can't... believe I have driven by this incredible place for so long! No more though! This is the place to bring your family, yourfriends. Grab a table outside and make sure you come hungry. We had a Cuban, a pastry, one of the specials, fried yucca and andCuban coffee. We all shared and had bites of everything. Not once was I disappointed. I would buy the yucca dipping sauce by thequart, if it were offered. Don't drive by Maggie's again!! Pull in and get ready to have some of the finest food in Lake City!! Read more
You most certainly get what you pay for at Maggie's. I ordered the steak sandwich and could swear there was half a flank steak... on the bread, the fried sweet plantains were caramelized to perfection, but I'm still on the fence about whether the Tamarind orthe Passion fruit juice was better. Service was pretty fast for a small work space, and everyone was cordial and inviting.Definitely going back when I'm in the area again!!! Read more
Visiting the area and found this place. So happy we did. The people are so kind & super friendly. We tried the Cuban sandwich,... plantains, tamarind juice & a Spanish pineapple soda. Everything was delicious & cooked to perfection. Such a great find forlunch on a sunny day! Read more
Amazing place to eat,, breakfast and coffee then lunch!! Pastries when available also.. Wish they were open 24/7 I would... probably eat every meal there no kidding.. Clean atmosphere and great service. It?s a small place doing big things, nice placeto sit outside too. Lots of menu options, I always get roast pork or the steak, black beans white rice and an empanada.. Cubansandwiches also tasty. Best Cuban food in all of Florida! Seriously!! I?ve lived in Miami and tried every so called ?Cuban? restaurant and nothing... compares to Maggie?s!! It?s hard to believe that in little old Lake City I?d find a place that cooks as good as my grandma andmomma.(Please don?t my mom) I love Maggie and her beautiful family. Read more
