We?ve visited this area often as our family cabin is nearby. When we heard a brewery had opened up we had to stop in. This place... is great. The entire feel from walking up, walking in, and sitting down is amazing. The use of local looks and views adds to thefeel. Now for the important stuff: beer and food. Both were outstanding! The cheese tray was to die for. We were here on the daythey released their Watermelon Gose and we are so glad for that happy coincidence because it was outstanding. Read more
My wife and I stopped in to Halpatter Brewing Company for lunch and drinks on Fathers Day. The building was an old post office... and the wood flooring was original. Awesome cypress slab work behind the bar. And of course the eclectic selection of brews ontap, from Irish ales, to pale ales, ipas, stouts, and an array of sours. We started with the sour flight and ordered the MonteCristo sandwiches with fries: boy was it delectable. The sours were super sweet, a little too much for my taste but my wifeloved the sours as the sweetness was up her alley. My next beer was the Florida IPA and that was probably one of the best IPA?sI have ever had. I had three of them. The service was fantastic and there was a few games around the building to play; pingpong, cornhole, croquette, and lawn dice to name a few. Good beer, delicious food. We shared the Mississippi Pot Roast Melt. Mick, at the bar, was super helpful. He suggested a... delicious imperial IPA and recommended the sandwich we ordered. Great place! We?ll be back! Read more
