First time visiting. Awesome experience. Definitely going back
On our way driving from South Florida to Atlanta, we stopped over in Lake City. Rather than dining at a chain restaurant, we... always try to find a local mom and pop owned place. Frankie?s turned out to be exactly that. The vibe was super friendly andrelaxed. The food?oh my goodness! Delicioso! We shared the stuffed peppers as an appetizer, unassuming but surprisingly lightand tasty, with homemade tomato sauce and quality meat. We also split a pizza, half Hawaiian/half veggies. Again, a simple andunassuming dish, but the crust was light, fluffy and crispy all at once. There wasn?t a drop of grease and all the toppings weresuper fresh. Our waitress Kelly was attentive and sweet, and the owner/manager came by several times to check in with us andchat. Whiteny our server was great even though super busy. Food was great and the owner walked around and checked on us as well. It... was my birthday and I got a slice of free cheese cake. Only complaint music is too loud. Read more
We absolutely love Frankie's place. Food always excellent. But tonight if you want to sit and relax to your enjoy dinner.. Nope!... We were extremely rushed out. Server approach us 4 time in 10 minutes after receiving our food wanted to know if we needed togoboxes. Finally we said ok. It was happening to many customer's. There was no line waiting to be seated. Hopefully the server canget the training that is needed. Sometimes you just want to relax and enjoy your dinner with good atosphere without being rushedout the door. We will be back, but hopefully not being rushed out the door. Nice independent pizza place. You can tell they use quality ingredients too. I am from Live Oak, but this is my pizza place. ... Well worth the drive for awesome food! Great service, reasonable prices and a locally owned restaurant. Would highly recommendvisiting this place. You won't be disappointed. Read more
