Please do not pay attention to Ray's advertising. This is not the worst bbq in Arkansas. This is among the top 5 bbq places I've... been to in Arkansas. Every meat we tried was smoked to perfection and moist. We got there right before they were closing up andthey let us in and treated us like the first customers of the day. The owner learned some of his craft in Texas and it shows.Even the smoked bologna was great and I'm not a bologna fan. The sides of mac and cheese along with baked beans were also topnotch. Great owners who love Northeast Arkansas especially Riverside Public School communities. This business needs more folksto make the short drive to Lake City and give them a shot at your business. I have used their catering services for both my wedding reception and Thanksgiving Dinner, both were amazing and I will order... them for catering again! Their food is always fresh and delicious and I have not found one item on their menu I haven't liked.Highly recommend their porksteaks and BBQ nachos! Read more
Brisket: excellent! Thick cut, quality meat with good moisture/fat content. Jumbo pulled pork sandwich: generous 8+ oz though a... little heavy-handed on the salt & pepper. Unfortunately, they forgot my honey mustard BBQ sauce and the only other BBQ sauce isapple cider VINEGAR-based: a culinary sin in Arkansas (this ain?t North Carolina!). No matter - just so long as they don?t applyit to my protein. Everything we ate was delicious. The meats were flavorful and tender. We especially enjoyed the broccoli salad and Mac and... cheese as sides and were blown away by the cinnamon roll to finish off our meal. Read more

Went to a lunch this place catered food was ordered for 100 people they ran out of food at less than 70 served chicken tasted... like it was marinated in lighter fluid chopped bbq was bland staff served food bare handed and when they were plating dessertevery time some got on their hands they would lick it off and to top it all off the food was delivered in the uncovered bed of apickup truck Read more
