I am all about small, family owned businesses. This one gets it right every time. Their breakfast sandwiches are delicious and... the coffee is on point. I love that they're dog-friendly. I would also note that they seem to be very willing to give back tothe community. I didn't ask about it, but they seem to have some kind of program that involves picking up trash as payment forservices. So kind. Read more

Such a great experience. Food was delicious, coffee was great, environment was very welcoming. You could tell the owners and... staff take very good care of their store, and I thought the community corner was a fantastic idea. The only recommendation Ihave is to fix the door automatic closer at the front entry. you can see where the door doesn?t fully shut so the fan switchremains on, blowing cool air on the tables close to it. It?s possible that they?re a tenant and that may be a historic building,there might not be much you can do because of code, and some things you?re just stuck with. Either way, awesome experience,great job to the staff and the owners, and I let the person at the front know they did a great job. If I am ever in Lake Charlesagain, I?ll be sure to visit. Read more

Had their king cake/Mardi Gras special and it was so good! It wasn't crazy sweet which I definitely appreciated. Upon lifting... the lid, I saw they decorated the top with festive colored sugar which added a nice finishing touch. The latte was also made toa drinkable temperature right away which I haven't encountered prior so I was definitely happy about being able to sip my coffeewithout waiting for it to cool down. We stopped in for a coffee before setting off on the Creole Nature Trail. The King Cake latte (I think it was called) was... delicious sweetness and adorably decorated with sprinkles. The strawberry and cream frappe was a delicious sweet treat, also. Read more

Free parking on the street, and parking lot on the east side / to the rear. Atmosphere was very welcoming. The lady working the... counter was friendly. I had a regular cold brew and it was tasty. I didn't try the food, but it sounded good. If you're in ahurry, this may not be the best place to visit. Otherwise, a nice cafe. Read more
