Famous restaurant sells pork crackling from this location at $22 a pound. Thicker pieces seemed to be undercooked, but warm and... tasty. The Wet & Spicy crackling seemed to be less pieces for the same price. Orders are only done through drive thru due toCOVID19. Currently ribeye steaks are selling for $15 a pound...I think that their crackling is over priced and may cause adecline in sells during this already trying time. Read more
Famous is currently closed but this place has employees from famous there and you can get your soft spicy cracklins here!!! We... drove from Houston and we were pretty sad that famous was closed but we saw a sign on the building pointing next door to 2 goodsandwiches so we checked it out and thank God we did! The absolute best roast beef sandwich of my life. While their menu is very limited it has given them the chance to perfect the... food. The roast beef was savory and suculant, the toppings fresh and the bread was perfectly suited to absorb the flavorswithout becoming mushy. Truly an artfully made sandwich. Read more
