Living and working in Wailea as a REALTOR for the last 38 years you tend to go to restaurants closer to home. It was a nice... change of scenery with great food and service. Great experience. Amazing food, ambience and location. Their Japanese curry with rice on the side of catch of the day is so... tasteful!!! Love the stay at ritz and Banyan Tree had a big portion for the liking. One of the best in Maui. Read more
Honestly, a slightly disappointing meal. Nothing to complain about, just not up to what we were expecting for the restaurant... being located at the Ritz Carlton! (Go to the Seahouse instead!) Lovely, just beautiful setting with loads of green foliage everywhere you look. There are views of the ocean. The food is as you... would expect for fine dining but not outstanding. The prices are high possibly because you are on the Ritz Carltonproperty. Loved the bar. Read more
One of the best meals I've ever had and outstanding service - 5 star!!! I had the Ono, which was fantastic. I've had Ono all... over the islands, but this was the best. My wife ordered the Sea Bass - which was also outstanding. She's had Chilean Sea Bassall over the country and this was one of the best she's ever had. This place is 5 stars top to bottom: food, service, outdooratmosphere. Definitely would recommend if you're in the area. Read more
Wonderful outdoor atmosphere and friendly service. The poke appetizer was delicious as was the rest of the meal. We had the... catch of the day (mahi) and the lobster ravioli followed by the bananas foster for dessert. Get sunset reservations for the mostbeautiful painted sky while you dine! Read more
Wow, the magazine in the hotel named this as ?most romantic restaurant? and they weren?t kidding! We got *the best* seat in the... house, outside in a little nook with torches surrounding us, and the service was superb! Every dish we ordered seemed to getbetter and better. There?s a gorgeous photo op at in front of the trees just outside the front desk - ask the hostess. We gotthe seasonal snapper (opakapaka) and wagyu filet. We also enjoyed the chicken kabob with different flavored salts we can add.The banan-yan fosters dessert was also quite the experience! Read more
